Stan was a self-promoter, to be sure. But he was an outgoing, gregarious person who had no problem acting as the general public’s ambassador into the comics world. Jack Kirby seemed to be a more quiet, private person. Steve Ditko just seemed to hate people in general.

Yes to this. I was very underwhelmed by JJ season 2, and I think only residual goodwill from season 1 saved it. All the Netflix/Marvel characters have been guilty of excessive moping, but the apathetic, hard-drinking, and abusive spin that they have given her character is getting old.

Not being one to casually call out sexism, I am curious as to what the significant difference is between this show and the endless, critically acclaimed HBO shows featuring Danny McBride playing assorted odious characters.
