The Super-indignities continue: First, Superman takes a major ass-whipping from Batfleck in movie theatres, and now, in this episode, he is reduced to a pair of boots in the background of Kara's scene with J'onn, barely seen and never commented on.

Well, although Apatow allowed what should have been a brisk movie to push the two-hour limit, like he always does, he shouldn't get all the credit/blame. Schumer did write the script.
With another zombie-light episode, we are again confronted with how terrible these characters are. From the enigmatic bossiness of Strand, to the secret-police suspicion and sneakiness of Daniel, to medicine cabinet foraging of Nick, none of these are folks I wanna spend a lot of time with. Even the more noble…
Let England Shake initially escaped me. But I played it one Saturday, driving through Baltimore on my way to a funeral, and all that violence, despair, and loss just piled on me like an avalanche. It's a great album.
I'm a longtime PJH fan, but I must admit to having mixed feelings about this record. Especially the Washington, DC parts.
That's a new wrinkle for the Hawks' story there. In the comics, they like to treat Carter and Shayera's destiny like a good thing, like this "eternal love story." Legends of Tomorrow is suggesting it's more of a trap they're stuck in.
Schaech was lacking as a made-for-TV Jonah Hex. But I did like the little exchange with Ray, where he tried to suggest that Hex let Gideon fix his scarred face. When Hex says, essentially, "Fix what?" Ray says, "never mind."
Stop showing off.
After taking a little break with Deadpool, Ryan Reynolds is back in crap again.
It was my understanding that some of the wobbly stuff from the beginning of season 2 (e.g., Sonya's inexplicable relationship with the brother of her sister's rapist) originated from Stiehm, and needed to be smoothed over by the other guy, following her departure.
Well, the Bridge did have the prototypical problematic second season, with two EPs apparently battling for supremacy. But I would have liked to see it continue.
Oh, I have. Terriers is one of my favorite shows of the past few years. It's the dogs I'm indifferent about.
Just don't buy her any shots of that expensive tequila.
I've never cared for Chuck. For his judgmental nature, his underhandedness, his possibly-imaginary condition. So I enjoyed seeing his victory lap fall to shit, and reveled in Kim's takedown of his relationship with Jimmy. But I stopped short of cheering when Chuck went down at the copier shop. I'm not a total bastard.
I've given up on this show. I've never liked it. It was never good. And I can't even waste the time necessary to hate-watch it anymore. But I'll check back in on the inevitable D and F-graded episodes.
Not a dog person. Means nothing to me.
Landgraf can kiss my ass. I loved this show. And to this day, there's no DVD.
Countdown to Mutiny Plotline: 10…9…8…
"Members Only Spokesmodel?"
Definitely some energy and style in that Preacher promo, that was totally lacking in FTWD.
