The scene a couple of weeks ago, when Bob seemed embarrassed by the fame the case had brought him, and suggested that such non-achievement based notoriety was undesirable, suggested a parallel world where he helped raise those kids, and, maybe, they stayed in school, or something.

A couple more things missed in the recap:

This time of year and shitty grade of films used to belong to Nicolas Cage. I think Gerard Butler, with this and Gods of Egypt, has confidently stepped into that pantheon.

I'm not familiar with her work on Person of Interest, but I think Shahi has been waiting for years for an effective showcase. While updating Nancy Drew seems like a dodgy prospect (on CBS, for God's sake), I wish her luck.

"She was a little too ebullient while joking about how she's so self-hating."
The true mark of a black conservative commenting on Fox News.

I'm beginning to wonder if he has suffered from a mini-stroke or something, and lost his ability to communicate.

Boy, that Abraham can turn a phrase, can't he? "Bumpin' fuglies," was that?

This was a concern of mine when this first came out. So I decided to wait until it all ended to see if it was worth a trade purchase. Not so sure now.

Plus, during that Millar run, Bryan Hitch gave Sue Storm the shittiest hairdo ever.

It was 2002. I loved Res' record back then. Yet another unsung artist.

Me. too.
You think Diplo still takes her phone calls? What with him being part of Beiber's entourage, and all.

A lot of missed opportunities here. First of all, I dislike Rip more every week. But I'm glad that Sara finally called him on his selectivity on tampering with the timestream. They can interject themselves for his ends, but not theirs. Not cool.

That's especially unfortunate since during the years that Connor had sole possession of the Green Arrow title, Chuck Dixon really did a good deal to fill in his background. IIRC, his maternal grandfather was retired ex-military, who ran a ranch out west.

In the final scene, I thought, "You may want to take that wheelchair with you, Felicity, in case that miracle cure doesn't last 'til you're out of the building."

I don't know if the writers here are following the character arc of the Wally West from the comics, who spent a good deal of his first years as the (non-Kid)Flash acting like a selfish dick. But we need to see something more from Wally, and soon.

Well, we finally made it through an episode without Barry revealing his identity to someone. I thought that he might let Wally know that he is the Flash at first. But their relationship is so shaky, at this point, that I see him telling, say, the police captain, before Wally.

Chuck's passive-aggressive villainy really gets a rise out of me. He has so much (or could have, if he sought help for his "condition"), but he constantly tries to deny Jimmy even a little. And, unlike Kim, it's not because of any higher ideals. It's just selfishness and jealousy.

In odd moments, I still scratch my head over what he was trying to do with that Amazon pilot he did a few years ago.

I actually preferred it when Carter took his lazy, portentous writing over to Millennium. Easier to avoid there.

So… Yeah…
