For some comic properties, the "modern" or "realistic" approach can work. Like with Marvel's Netflix shows. But the Flash is so steeped in the more zany ideas of a bygone era, that it just wouldn't be the same without them. I'm glad they realize that.

Keep on embracing that Silver Age craziness, Flash. I love it.

If Marvel wasn't apparently treating the FF like Josef Stalin.

I sympathize. I have yet to finish Kimmy Schmidt and Narcos, and just started Master of None. Along with that, I have the first seasons of Penny Dreadful, Power, and Rick & Morty to watch. And a couple of other series I'm backed up on DVR. Even stuff I hate-watch like Gotham.

The "female character is traumatized and defined by rape" trope has been much overused in recent years, from Game of Thrones to Scandal. The fact that this show isn't leaning heavily into it doesn't disturb me at all.

What about if you fall asleep during the episode?

Nobody's could be dreading Murphy's take on the OJ Simpson trial more than me.

Noah Hawley has added more writers to Fargo this season, to its benefit, I think. Pizzolatto needs to do the same. And also stop drinking his own Kool-Aid.

I also wonder how those bros that proclaimed loudly how Sheen was "living the dream" (unlimited hookers and blow, little to no accountability), feel about that now.

Non-disclosure agreements for everybody. Eli would be all over that.

I was going to make a comment a couple weeks ago, about how many characters this show leaves on the side of the road with no further comment.

Did anyone catch a hint of hesitation from Eli when he catches Peter and Alicia in the bedroom? I took it to mean that Eli, realizing that Alicia is engaging with Peter yet again, is concerned about her becoming hurt in his scheme against Peter.

Possibly because he realizes that his baron would not allow him to maintain his status (or life) if he thought that Sonny posed any competition in terms of public adulation.

And that is way too much to ask.

"We've got five minutes we need to fill before we cut back to Daryl, so try to talk about some meaningful, metaphysical shit. You know how we do."

Shit, after all these seasons, I wanna burn down the motherfuckin' woods, too.

And that really proved worthwhile, didn't it?

Voyeuristic Perv Eugene is gonna love this.

I keep waiting for companies to exceed my price point (honestly, $3.99?). Marvel is bugging me with a lot of these padded $4.99 first issues. But when they hit that tipping point, I will re-evaluate my floppy vs. trade policy.

Now, it's Frank Miller, so the misogyny will be strong, too.
