I wish I saw Cracker as she and Kate see her, her Gaga was a disaster imo. Cracker continues to seem utterly unable to perform satisfactorily in a comedy challenge without a week of prep time.

Why do people keep saying Gigi is “high fashion”? She just knows how to sew for her body. She has a lot to learn before she gets even close to queens who know their stuff like Raja, Violet, Kim Chi, Shea, and Sasha.

Where is this writer’s gay twitter that finds Buttigieg with any amount of facial hair attractive? I know they lack self respect and thirst for Aaron Schock but not even actual gay twitter would stoop that low.

This is an incredibly reductive response, almost flippant in how sweeping and firm it is .

>Metaphorically, “shibboleth” is used in reference to passwords and insider jargon

I hope your marriage is going wonderfully but I specifically didn’t mention that interpretation in hopes it wouldn’t show up and now I’m livid.

And every language has their own version of dumb confrontation over correct words. In Portuguese there are many cases like these but the most controversial one is definitely about the word for cookie, which can also mean cracker, “biscoito” and “bolacha”. The difference here lies in that the discussion isn’t about

The origin is identical to that of “shibboleth”, it’s just that Spanish is much less predisposed to loanwords so preachers would just find an appropriate translation.

Still, as a massive fan of anything Sondheim, I don’t think Merrily We Roll Along would benefit from that at all, especially because the actors looking the same is kind of the whole point.

I still hate that shot of her dragon’s wings behind her so fucking much. Really sums up the writing for the whole season.

Fleabag is the only show I’ve ever cared enough about to wish another season despite knowing there’s a solid risk of it being subpar since Series 2 closed it off perfectly. I’d let Phoebe Waller-Bridge write the next 50 years of my life and my untimely obituary just to experience another bit of her huge talent.

The US version of what?

How is asking 50% of the box office earnings of a movie Sony is paying for in its entirety a “starting offer”? By any measure it’s an insult.

Thank you. Sony really is in the right here as much as it pains me to admit it and I’m glad you agree.

In the comics the whole point of Peter Parker’s industry was because he wanted the same influence but didn’t see eye to eye with Tony in many issues. Including total invasion of privacy and control over what are essentially drone strikes, which Peter was never too keen on.

Yup. And keep in mind how absurdly gigantic Disney has to be to think it’s ok to strongarm another giant in the industry.

Where did I say any of that

I think the opposite here. I thought the MCU’s reliance of making Spider-Man Tony Stark 2.0 was an awful idea (especially the optics of Far From Home, but that’s a drop in the bucket).

I think you’re still way too caught up on losing spidey and pretending people are “rooting for Sony” instead of “rooting for some glimmer of hope in loosening Disney’s vice grip on the industry”. It’s almost sad how your diatribe on corporate cheerleading and the rest of your comments here are essentially the same

A lot of people in this thread pretending this whole thing isn’t Disney’s fault, yikes.
