can someone explain to me how she gets proceeds from a video? from advertisers or someone? from vevo?

absolutely

and it also explains her dancing.

u took the words outta my mouth. i’d call it shuffling. maybe bouncing. but dancing it is not.

the suit won’t touch her personal finances or assets. she’s an elected official, she’d be sued in her official capacity and would receive personal immunity

while i totally disagree with what these customers did, i dont think customers who have to wait an hour for food should pay full price for their food. i say this as a former waitress. i’d rather have the restaurant take the cut so customers are more likely to leave a tip. but it’s the restaurant who should offer a

yeah, i know SCOTUS holds it to be constitutional. my point is that i wouldn’t call what the judge did “activist” for finding that a particular kind of execution violated the constitution. while it seems to overlook precedent, we don’t know the judge’s reasoning yet. it could be a new issue. my point is that it’s not

cheers to the illustration.

im not sure it’s “activist” to find that something is a clear violation of not only the constitution, but the most important part of the constitution- the bill of rights. also, the judge is a he. and as he said, he will elaborate within the next few days.

the sentiment i agree with is that we have an issue with many of our ppl not learning standard/white/euro-centric/”professional” (which i know is problematic in itself) english. i could care less about what language ppl use in their homes and social settings, but I am concerned that so many of us do not have the

i don’t disagree with you at all about that point. it’s important to understand how we got where we are and the problems we continue to face. i also think that the “how” and “why” shouldn’t keep us from taking responsibility for the part that we do control. to say “well they did this to us, so we will continue on that

a lot of what he says and how he says it is bullshit. but the message of personal responsibility isn’t a bad one, imo. it’d be ignorant to say “do all these things and everything will be a-ok”, but it’s a different thing to say “do all these things, and you will improve your chances at success.” so fuck me for
