Like I get most of these are going to be funny, but I have so many terrible terrible stories about my former alcoholic father. I think I’ve told this one before, but I can’t help but tell it again.

Yeah, my dad was one of those as well. I have a few that are more of the “laugh instead of crying” variety.

If I wasn’t getting a heirloom ring with connections to my history, I wouldn’t think twice about getting something else like a white sapphire or an opal or something. But this has the added bonus of being free!
