My favourite thing out of every Red Faction was the “Glass House” free-play level where you can just blow up the walls, ground, buildings etc in a large cave.
Nothing quite like burrowing a tunnel through rock with C4.

Definitely. There’s always a meddling upper-management that wants to crack out something quickly using a popular IP, regardless of the fallout, purely to cash in.
Same thing happened between Red Faction 1 and 2.

I love these levels mainly because they were pretty much exactly like the boss fights in Pandemonium for the PSX.

It’s already established in the prior episode that Rey can fight, and has gotten pretty good at it with her staff. To which she continues practising in TLJ.
