Agreed. I’ve had actual experiences that I literally cannot explain, and not for lack of desperately trying. All I can is file them away like you have and move on. It’s definitely fun to discuss them with other interested parties tho!

Man, the last Cyberpunk 2077 delay really rocked the whole industry.
I agree, she should have 14 belts, a bag strapped to both her legs, green spiky hair and no personality.
Yes, but talking about trans people in a way that doesn’t perfectly align with the one and only (apparently) acceptable public view is not the same as “arguing whether certain human beings should have rights and be treated with decency”. Vaguely pointing out extraordinarily basic, well established and well subscribed…
Same here, I will be interested to see how the USB 3.1 port performs though and how fast an external SSD can transfer games to the internal storage, not as convenient as the card but should be way faster than an external HDD
Ive seen panic about next gen storage but that’s what most people are forgetting about. Since so few games will be optimized for next gen no need to load “every” game on the the internal HD for now.
And one I shall be adopting.
I’ve got the same plan. I think the onboard storage + my existing external drive for previous-gen games should do me for a couple of years. By that point, I expect that prices will be cheaper and storage might be even bigger too. I’m in no rush. I’m not going to have dozens of Xbox Series X games the moment this drops…
I agree, wait on the extra storage, it is not something you need off the bat. Prices will come down, possibly significantly. Yes, I too added storage to my current consoles, but to be honest there is a ton of stuff on there I never really use.
Your worry is justified .Mine says the same thing about emailing when they get a date. My buddy ordered from Amazon and his says expected delivery on November 10.
“I did manage to snag one at Amazon, though I don’t really trust it will go through because I pre-ordered from there at about 11:42am EST, and they don’t even show a delivery estimate which should theoretically be release day (11/10/2020).”
A sort of loyalty program is exactly what I was thinking they should have done. They knew that a) there weren’t enough consoles to meet demand, and b) scalpers would buy them up just like the PS5. Why not mitigate the second problem by opening orders up to existing owners?
I understand the motivation to get the system…
No mine still has the “we’ll email you with an estimated delivery date”. I’m hoping it’ll be release day since I seemed to have gotten it as soon as it went live.
I got Series X pre-ordered pretty easily on Amazon which I wasn’t expecting. I was at Best Buys site refreshing for an hour to hopefully grab a pre-order. Luckily I follow Wario64 on Twitter and caught his tweet that Amazon was live with Series X pre-orders. Surprisingly there was no delay between adding to cart and…
What is it like, soaring so far above the rabble while also being inside of your own ass?
Oh God. It’s video games and hyperbole; I’ll survive. I guess I should’ve gone with miffed? Would that have kept the console wars hounds at bay?
Probably not.
cross-buy was for games that were on both the vita and ps4, what you’re thinking of was the promotion a lot of companies had where you bought the 360/ps3 version and then got a coupon for $50 off the next gen version (so you still had to pay $10 to get the next gen version)
I can stand behind your handle. I was a school kid during the age of askjeeves. Take an updoot.
Oh, they don’t want you going to PS5 for sure, but if you stay on One X or maybe move to PC, they don’t really care. The main statement of yours I was responding to was this:
