That is a nice feature, hmm.

Except for, you know, the service. Godawful in SF and Chicago...

It's not that bad. He bought a ton of ingredients, and if he gets enough to add to say six packages of ramen (and make them actually a full meal, since all that stuff would make it more filling), it's only costing you a buck and a half. Still seems pretty good to me.

If he immediately got them it sounds like he'd probably been paying for them all along.

Bam, haha.

I can't see gmail charging an exorbitant fee, but even if they do, imap backup. I feel like most people on lifehacker uses gmail or google apps.

Well yes, but replace delete with archive and I think the advice still holds true. I archive everything and you're right, having it there and searchable can be a lifesaver, but I think the bigger point was about getting it out of your inbox.

I doubt if that would work at most concerts or events though - would they let you take a watermelon in?

Yeah, I suppose you're right about that. Let me amend that to say that if you want a good point and shoot and are at least somewhat interested in the idea of becoming more into photography (and I find that a great many people are, at least in theory), the s100 or the g12 are good stepping stones that will be simple

I'm not sure n25philly's talking about. Perhaps he's referring to Sony's dslr range, which is actually the best outside of the big two (although you're probably always better off going with either canon or nikon for a dslr). The NEX series however is pretty great, one of the best ILC lines out there.

But ken rockwell? eww

A lot of this more complicated than you might want to get into, since things like optics and noise performance can't be summed up in a single comparable number, so you're probably better off A) asking a photographer friend what they'd recommend or B) reading review sites, especially good ones like [DPreview.com]

I know - if you look now they've upped their prices to about $1/cartridge. Still cheap, but not as cheap as it was when this was posted...

All of the thanks, sir!

That would be fantastic - askj113@gmail.com if you haven't already given it away.

Most canon slrs at least offer a raw +jpeg option

At this instant in time? Probably the HTC One X

Gotta second you here. I'm from the US and was exposed to girl scout thin mints early, but these stole my heart away
