A strict interpretation of the boarding rule would make it illegal.

Middle infielders intentionally put their foot/leg in front of the base before they receive the throw, so that if the runner slides head first, he can’t easily reach the base. This happens all the time.
By the way the headline reads, Patrick Redford’s bosses will chastise him because Redford didn’t use the words “Flyers” or “Philly” in the headline, which will deflate the number of clicks.
Maybe if Joe Mauer (an actual corpse) could still play catcher, the trade wouldn’t have been necessary.
They can still block the plate if they catch the ball before the runners get there.
Hey Drew, did you accidentally log into Redford’s account?
Expanding the size of the ice means you need to either eliminate seats (which costs way too much future revenue) or make the arena bigger (which costs way too much up front).
It’s only a matter of time. The ice is too damn small in the NHL, and these are the biggest and fastest players in the world.
Pretty sure they called a foul on the jump shot
I don’t want the national media to stop criticizing the Philly fans. It’s actually fun when they do! I simply want other Philly fans to acknowledge that other cities aren’t criticized when they do the same shit. I was literally called a liar for reciting basic facts about Caps fans in this thread.
Adequate throw, unbelievable tag.
But throwing shit at a player after a game is better? What is wrong with you? My guess is you’re a transplant.
So it’s an embarrassment to throw shit on the ice in 2016, but not in 2008. You are funny as hell.
I hate that you’re claiming I’m defending “this”; I’m criticizing the overreaction by the national media, when nobody said a fucking word in 2008 when the same thing happened to the Flyers in a road arena.
How fucking stupid are you to think I only had one source?
The former employee calling other commenters “try hard” is just way too funny
Wrong! Here’s a second source, which names a second player:
HAHA now it’s just “one” Caps fan throwing multiple pieces of garbage on the ice, but somehow you can prove it was multiple Flyers fans tonight rather than just one idiot throwing multiple objects.
Are you seriously claiming it didn’t happen?
