Random possibility but I was watching a television show recently and one of the women was trying to get out of a limo and couldn't get the door open. Turns out the child lock on the door was activated and the driver had to open it for her.

I have to second this. It not only covers the S80 but most modern Volvos have some of the most comfortable seats you can get in a car.

Especially since they are allegedly going to have nothing larger than a 4 cylinder in a few years.

I'm not savvy enough to know whether the hood shimmying like that at the start of the burnout is horsepower awesomeness or build quality sadness.

How about anything that suggests a minority is driving it?

This video from Polestar claims a 4.5 second time to 62. I don't know why their video and their teaser images quote different times though.

I don't care how expensive my car is if I confront someone who is peeing on it only to find out it was nothing but water I'm not going to freak out about it. There was no intent to do anything negative to the car. This guy probably just didn't know how to bring his emotions down after his initial reaction and likely

I'm confused because the post states that the car must be mechanically identical to the version sold to customers. Aren't most limiters merely software? Is there something actually mechanically limiting the speed of the car?

I definitely agree on the interior. It's the second worst interior Volvo offers right now. The first being the C70 which is basically the same interior in a car with a $41K starting price. I always thought that if the C30 really wanted to make a case for itself at that price it needed to at least have a nicer

Just a note, but her former name was Santogold, not Santagold.

Not true. Both the last generation 328 and 335 were 3.0L engines. Same applies to other cars with the same engines like the 1 and 5 series. Plus the 740i right now uses a 3.0L engine (the 750i is a 4.4L) though I don't remember how long that's been going on. BMW has been doing it for awhile.

Since there's an S80 and an S60 in the background I'm assuming this is a Volvo dealership/service department. I guess it's not surprising that there's at least one running around someone for testing (I'm assuming this is in the U.S.).

This is definitely one of the worst offenders to date, no doubt. The 5.5L engine in the 63 AMGs (the one that's been replacing the 6.2) has always annoyed me. The CLA45 makes absolutely no sense.

They haven't properly denoted engine size for awhile now. Same with BMW.

I was concerned about it losing the more raking looking back (which is what I really love about the sport) but that last picture helped ease my concerns.

This.

I would add that people should be aware of overpasses as well. On a sunny winter day right around freezing everything may be melting but shaded overpasses may actually be forming new ice from the melting water. I unfortunately experienced this the hard way on a curved on-ramp that went under the highway.

On the other side it's incredibly annoying when people slam on their brakes or completely come to a stop in an effort to merge when their lane isn't ending for another 2000 feet.

This is beyond true. I live in a medium sized city and traffic backs up all the time just because people either brake for curves or aren't paying enough attention to properly stay in their lane. It's insane watching people drift about whenever the road isn't straight.

I've also found that it's difficult to get people to follow the left-lane passing rule if you maintain too large of a following distance. Most of the people where I'm from will hang out in the left lane until they notice someone pull up on their tail. If they see that then they'll get over. If you're hanging out at a
