I've seen an Aplina badged X5 before as well. I was in a Chicago suburb but I don't remember which. I always assumed it was real but I suppose it could have simply been a badge job.

My last purchase was relatively easy. I came to the dealership knowing the exact car I wanted and already had a financing check in hand, the amount of which I did not disclose. As far as I'm concerned the difference between a wagon and a 5 door these days is whether there is a D-pillar. Golf? 5 door. RS6 Avant? Wagon. 

I see them on a regular basis in Wisconsin. Not as regularly as Mustangs or Camaros but I see more Genesis Coupes than Challengers. I see a fair number of the sedans as well and I've even seen an Equus.

I like the Marquette Interchange visually (though many of the lights were out last time I paid attention while driving through at night).

This price margin is something I've been wondering about as well. As far as actual pricing goes the 3 series coupe is best compared with the C-Class coupe and the A5. It's also priced within about $1000 of those two vehicles. Moving it up market makes it more expensive than its competitors but will likely not place it…

I'll admit I had the same thought when I saw it from this angle. However, the CLA pulls the look off a lot better as an overall package (at least based on this overly styled and artificially colored images)

That's an R-Design. There hasn't been an actual S60R with this generation.

Design wise, the A7 is in an entirely different league than the 3 and 5 GT models. The 6 Series Gran Coupe is their answer to the A7. The 3GT is their answer to a question that no one asked.
