Doesn’t work for me either. I don’t know if certain items are excluded but I’m not able to use the code on the item that I want.

They seem to be easing Leblanc into some of the lingo. He used the term “sorted” on the finale in a decidedly British way.
The most common car I see with this issue around my area is the Honda Civic that uses dimmed halogen high beams for DRLs. I’m guessing it’s made worse by living in a city, so the lack of light isn’t as obvious, but it is shocking how common it is with specific brands/models.
The S80 pictured, and being referred to, debuted in 2007 which falls after the era you mentioned.
On the other hand, the S80 wasn’t very good.
Well that’s lovely. I hadn’t heard it yet and Bonzai just makes it better!
Well, yea. I realize that the test is a thing, I’m just shocked that they actually thought the issues were connected. I assumed they were just trying to be funny.
That’s all the dealership is going to do anyway.
Wait, were those people serious?
The problem was allegedly caused by an update from their weather and traffic data provider. The fix is to disconnect the battery for five minutes and then reconnect. It will clear the data and everything will return to normal (though you’ll lose some saved settings).
The problem with xdrive isn’t the AWD system itself necessarily, it’s the awful suspension setup, compared to the standard and sport suspension, that you are forced to get. The xdrive suspension is the least desirable suspension to have on their sedans and coupes. It’s worse than the standard suspension and it is much…
In all seriousness though, my S80 (second gen) had a kickdown button at the end of the pedal travel. I don’t think it’s unique to the S80, but it actually felt like a button when you hit it and it told the transmission to downshift for power.
I think they look better in their “real” pictures:
That’s the hard part that a lot of people don’t understand. Yes, you can technically sue if arrests, rather than convictions, are used against you but applicants pretty much never have the power to know or prove that is why they were rejected, especially when the criminal background check is part of the initial phase…
I find it annoying that many of the places that do the inspections now will also automatically add you to their mailing list so you suddenly start getting junk mail at home.
I kind of enjoy the difference between the Jalopnik crowd and the Autoblog crowd. On the same story over there the guy calling her rich for having a Mercedes is heavily upvoted while the guy pointing out that it’s an old C Class that isn’t worth much is downvoted.
Didn’t Elon Musk himself express concerns about the impression Autopilot was giving to customers? Autoblog reported last November that Autopilot was likely to be dialed back or restrained a bit thanks to numerous videos being posted online of owners using the system recklessly. Based on what some owners were doing,…
So...you don’t read the article and then skip down to offer your take on a Volvo that MIGHT have been 6 years old but you’re not quite sure because you don’t really know the model and year of the car you looked at?
They were about $1k below the “Average Trade-In” NADA value, though the car would have easily fallen into the “Clean Trade-In” category.
You’ll be fine at other dealers, which is what I had to do. My E92 still had nearly two years of the CPO warranty left but thanks to the recall I couldn’t trade it in to a BMW dealer to maintain the CPO and get a higher price. I had to sell it to CarMax and then pay full tax on my next car since I couldn’t get the…
