I realize they have to at least have the appearance of an investigation of Durkin’s actions before they can his ass (though, I’m guessing he’s an at-will employee and therefore has no protections from termination other than it cannot be for reasons illegal or unconstitutional), but—

Muschamp knows Durkin personally and not once has Durkin caused him to exercise to over-exertion and death so Durkin must be innocent.

The team has released a statement that they were unaware of Heimlich’s neice, but now that they’ve seen her face, they believe her.

“Screw you.”

Listen, I grew up around a lot of evangelical, holiness, and pentecostal folks here in Memphis. And anytime somebody is that LOUD with their professions of dedication to Jesus, it’s because they have the big nasty crawling around inside someplace.

My 2 yo daughter got that last week.  I always thought she could pitch for the Mets, but now I’m sure of it.

As a parent my first thought was "poop"

If the A’s 17th best prospect turns out to be an all-star and front-runner for Rookie of the Year in 2 years, this will actually be a really good point!

Beasley has been pretty open about his mental health struggles and the work he’s done to get where he is now. I know this piece is light hearted and I’ll agree as a Knicks fan he’s still flaky as hell (in a fun and positive way). But he should be applauded for turning his life around.
