This highway is not easy to drive during daylight (even though it is better than others in Westchester). There are very few, if any streetlights for the majority of the highway as well.
And the highway is very much not in “Greater NYC.”

I work in healthcare and have seen this situation first-hand. The behind the scenes fighting with car insurance is nuts. Getting them, and the health insurance to cover things can be a fight at every level. And for hospitals, they usually will have to get both vehicle/health to authorize care. This can take days…
Took the Amtrak train down to DC Sunday after Thanksgiving. Thanks to some poor planning (or great planning if you’re a train lover), we ended up taking a NJ Transit train all the way down. At least Amtrak trains ‘try’ to make it look nice. Trip only took maybe 90 minutes more, but my goodness was it a weird trip.
