@ngamesnick: The game does not reward you for playing a male that is a jerk. At all. It rewards you for saying what people want to hear: that means you can never be a jerk, or break off relationships. So none of that applies.

@MawsOfLife: Someone just told me about this recently, and I had no idea, but while that's useful to know, it's still cumbersome in practice, no?
@Phokal: Ho ho! I had no idea that having the same tag ensured being on the same team. Thank you for telling me this, since it'll result on less headaches when it comes to matchmaking from now on.
@MagicMagicPony: I'm currently playing through P4 for the first time right now, and it's sounding like Kanji is not straight...so, I was left wondering if it would be possible to have a male/male romance in P4...but it sounds like it's not!
@skillmore: Then why do it at all? Why is it a selling point? What you're saying is an incredibly huge cop-out.
While all of this is interesting, you never seem to get to the crux of the issue: WHY? Why are you more likely to conform to real-world societal expectations when you play as a girl? What about the game is making this happen?
@MazeltovCocktail: It may have felt like "two bullets" but chances are, it was way more than that. It would be annoying if you could actually feel every bullet that hit, but you still have to know you're being hit, right? I can assure you that it was probably more than two bullets.
Camping isn't as big a problem as it might seem. Usually it happens to players who cannot use the HRV. Knowing where your enemies are allows you to take care of them quickly and efficiently, especially if they're camping because then they don't move much. At that point, it becomes an issue as to wheter or not you can…
@Duuuuuuude: Most of the time that I died at the end were because I was getting frustrated for being stuck, so I looked for a way to kill myself XD.
@madcatz: I would not be surprised if a good deal of outlets already have the review written, just haven't published it yet. There were a few instances this weekend with sites which accidentally hit the publish button, revealed their stance on the game (guess what it was, go on, guess) and then took it down…
@Duuuuuuude: I loved the ending, I just don't think it made sense for it to happen where it did. Then again, I wasn't such a huge fan of the later portions of the game, which became puzzle-centric, in contrast to the beginning of the game, which was more impactful in setting and tone. The last third of the game, you'd…
@Ueziel: What is the reason you're referencing?
@Ueziel: Hey, I never said it would be refined. Besides, I think you're hanging on to an idea of normative identity way too hard here. I do think its possible for this to make sense if you lose that...and, not to plug my own site too much, but I've written something exactly on this subject.
@Ueziel: Except since there's no characterization that it's violating prior, then that means you are creating a schitzophrenic character. So, he would, and you know this because you've defined him/her to be like this.
@FakeOffice: Well, think of it this way: are the people who would skim your comment the sort of people you want to be talking to, anyway?
@Ueziel: Those games give you blank slate characters, so it's not quite the same.
@Danj3ris: The art style has nothing to do with it. I'm not the only one that thinks he doesn't look right. Most of the games I've played have characters that weren't created by me and they look fine. That also has nothing to do with it.
@Neige: What? I didn't say I wasn't giving the game a chance because of it. It's just that he doesn't even look right.
There are still pixels involved, though...if only because of the logistical fact that we're playing on a screen.
I want the movie to be an epic drama following the Carmine family and how they deal with their sad, fateful curse. It can be like Oscar Wao, except actually scifi!
