The difference between video games and movies is that video games almost always act only as wish fulfillment. That's the only reason we get choice in a game like Mass Effect. Moreover, there is a cannon ending/choice assortment for Mass Effect. The fact that we get to choose whatever we wan't isn't changing that.
@Furysetzer: Yes, and so it's worth less than a physical copy...like you would expect.
@Fernando Jorge: Thing is, it's not trying to be realistic, perhaps artistic/representational, which leaves plenty of room for aesthetic choices. You cannot say the same thing about 3D stuff, so it's much easier for it to be ugly.
@Fernando Jorge: It's not ugly, either. So there you go.
So, Limbo. I've written up a piece about it, in regards to how its a journey through a fragment of hell, but that we traverse it anyway, despite having no particular reason or incentive. This journey is a hark back to days of nomadism in real life, the suffering and toil associated with it, and the philosophies tied…
@Furysetzer: Why does the medium factor in the value above quality?
@Zangetsu: On vacation!: Don't get MAG, save your money. If you're going to get into an FPS, get Bad Company 2 or something. Actually a polished game, time tested, etc.
@Fernando Jorge: Yes, but since we're talking about aesthetics here, you calling them ugly is the answer to your question. That's why.
@Sakilla: I played it and loved it. Definitely had the lights out and the speakers up while playing it.
@Vonhert: Really? Because the big name tourneys that people care about all include it, unless I'm mistaken.
@Vonhert: I'm pretty sure that spamming ANYTHING gets you a win in SF4. That's just...scrubtalk.
How is this title bigger than SF4? I don't get it.
@Curiously Flamboyant Sheep: Ah, that's too bad...wish I could edit my post.
@mr_godot: I've never actually ordered anything from newegg, either, so I have no clue—but all my friends do, and they swear by how fast newegg ships.
Halo Reach preorder from newegg, 45 bucks
@Tacticalspoon: I suggest you visit his website and read about his approach, which is actually not showboating. Far from it, actually.
@OhThatDude: Real? In Twisted Metal?
Another picture with a post-apocalyptic sweet tooth, which was posted/blogged by David Jaffe for the post apocalyptic concept a few weeks ago:
@Manly McBeeferton: Unless you're talking about Six here, who I do not see, you're a filthy, filthy liar.
