I think that's a pretty respectable opinion. I do love Hannibal and won't be checking out, but I agree TV has gotten ridiculously dark and quite obsessive with anti-heroes. Sometimes I do wish there were more quality shows that went in the opposite direction and focused on the positive aspects of life. Friday Night

Fantastic finale. Not totally unpredictable based on what we know about the Red Dragon canon, but it still had some great swerves. And I guess I know who I'll be shipping in 2015, lol.

Yeah, everyone knows Gillian is the reigning queen.

Great review… it's such a shame Chris dragged M&S back for the disastrous 'William' and abysmal 'The Truth'. I'd have far less hate for S9 if it had just been contained to Doggett and Reyes solving new cases.

Truly one of the best TV pilots, and one of the all time greatest TV series ever made. Great FNL review.

Takes a gaze at David in Aquarius and Gillian in Hannibal. #dies

Well, I absolutely loved tonight's episode. My favorite "new" drama of all the freshmen/sophomore shows. It's just a shame Hannibal isn't set in The X-Files universe, because then I'd actually still have hope even after 'Mukozuke' that she really. is. not. actually. dead.

The trendlines seem to be mostly accurate, but some of the less popular shows with few votes i.e. The Shield have been heavily compromised by trolls (not my assumption, the guy who mass registered and voted all the 1s admitted to it on the IMDb forum.)

Only an F? So you're telling me it's better than Hostages…

Next stop, Westworld?

I don't think AV readers have any blind vitriol towards "Almost Human". Most of the negativity stems from the less than confidence inspiring writing. "Almost Human" looks less like a fun 1990s cult-classic like "The X-Files" and more like a 1990s disaster more in league with "Harsh Realm".

Well, at least HBO fast-tracked an American remake of Utopia straight to series…

I think most people here are huge fans of Joel Wyman's work on Fringe. Imho, most of his writing in that series was downright brilliant, and I place it on a very high pedestal. I respect Joel's Fringe work too much to try to say it's comparable with just anything with a Bad Robot label on it.

LOL. I love reading your posts, Bonan. :)

Kinda. Fringe was Fringe largely because of Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner, Akiva Goldsman, Chris Tilton, John Noble, Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson, etc. Their talent is absent from Almost Human and it shows.

I feel like this show was made specifically for the people who only liked the video tape hunt in Fringe when Olivia was absent. X_X

Ugh… this was hands down the worst season finale I've ever seen in a Bad Robot series. Very dull and unspectacular with virtually no plot progression. "Fringe" was a stronger series seventy times seven by its first mid-season finale, 'Ability', which was a landmark episode in sci-fi history.

Well, I don't want to judge Crisis having only seen the Pilot, but Hannibal premiered first.

So hyped for this. Gillian Anderson couldn't have chosen a better series to resurrect her American career!

Really???? In terms of action and dynamic between leads, I would say Fringe S1 was a B+/B- and Almost Human S1 is around a D+. Fringe S1 just oozed style. Chris Tilton's music was beautiful, the New York / Boston setting really felt "alive", and the production values and action were top notch. Heck, the Fringe
