Did people really think the Rift was going to run on one of those barebones, $500 “Build an Xbox One Killer!” PCs? For what it is, the requirements aren’t at all unreasonable.

Not leaping to her protection. But you can understand having that comment mistaken when looking at other comments and immediately see a number of people intentionally misgendering and going the typical route with their replies.
Her (that’s the direction aye?)
It’s a name that has been around since at LEAST the early Greek empire.
Sex and gender are two different things, champ.
The one right no one can take away from us is the right to define ourselves as we wish. You can claim she is a he all you like, but she’s still a she to herself.
So if you don’t sexual arouse anyone you have no gender? That must be rough for you.
*her
Let’s not get carried away here. There’s a line between pushing yourself to grow and ignoring your limits and pushing yourself into unnecessary risk which each person has to figure out for themselves. Using your own argument, why not ride on ice? It would be a chance for growth, no? And there’s a big difference…
We will have to agree to disagree. Unless you don’t agree to that.
I disagree to both your points. And Sean’s response was still pissy, regardless. This site can be so judgy. Anyone who doesn’t ride all the time in any weather is lame for saying so and probably on a Harley anyway. Just read the thread of you think I’m overstating it.
This is fair. However, “get waterproof gear and slow down” isn’t exactly revelatory either. Point is, offering a counterpoint which also addresses the topic at hand isn’t just trolling as Sean sort of accused. And when someone indicates that they aren’t comfortable with certain conditions and so they choose to avoid…
Yeah, the solution of, “Do half an hour of work at home so you can have half an hour of work later,” is one that makes life better for some people. For other people, that half hour is one that’s better devoted to something other than food prep. Others don’t even half that half hour.
Your life is not everyone’s life. This is not a universal solution.
At my desk, from a water bottle, like the classy bitch I am.
Lame? For someone offering an alternative way of staying safe in bad weather? Uh, ok. Where’s your proclamation of lame for the guy who immediately guesses that the other commenter must ride a Harley?
There are so many noses being looked down at you right now.
I keep’em extra mad at me by not dying ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Myself, I’m a Sunny Day Rider.
To be fair, you can do that right now. It is definitely both simple and free. Results may vary.
