So is this game essentially “Total War” set in China? Seems intriguing, but I’ll wait for an English localization first.

I really loved that scene where the leper pleads to Ashitaka to consider not just what Lady Eboshi did to the forest, but what she did for the town in general, and especially for the lepers, who would have been shunned by normal people due to their grotesque appearance without the bandages hiding it.
I had a discussion with this in college with a TA, or teaching assistant. He said that in most European and Asian cities, the rich tended to live in the city, with the poor living in the suburbs because it’s expensive to live right in the heart of it. Having a densely populated area with limited land space contributed…
Actually, I’d have to say it’s because they gradually self-imploded, what with all those civil wars they kept having, making them weaker over time.
It really makes you wonder what happened here. Did the group that got slaughtered refuse to share the land with the group that ultimately killed them? Or was this a warning to others living nearby of what would happen if they opposed a newly risen chieftain?
So this?
Google “Chinese ghost cities”, and you can learn a lot about this too.
Did they really expect much to happen after only two weeks? Additionally, they also need to clean up other sources of air pollution, such as from smokestacks at factories/power plants, etc, if they want more meaningful longer term clean air.
This is one of those long term solutions that they’ll have to work on if they…
So basically, this again?
So how well would this work with the weather mod to change rainfall and what not?
Sad to see North Korea still doing stupid stuff like this, instead of trying to contribute to the global economy the way South Korea is.
Not only that, you need a pretty beefy PC to utilize it properly. Meaning you’d better spend a few extra hundred/thousands of dollars to upgrade your PC.
I think as more EV’s come out at lower prices, longer ranges, and hopefully shorter recharge times, and people see them more on the roads and have friends/family/neighbors who own one and can talk about it. EV adoption will pick up.
Right now the cost of the battery is one of the bigger hurdles that automakers have…
I drive a Chevy Volt, and though I have to burn a little gas in the winter, it’s far less than what I used to have to get from previous gas cars.
It’s so nice to drive by the gas station, and not freak out over 10 cent jumps in prices anymore.
Wasn’t the tar sands a result of the high oil prices, which OPEC, and to a lesser extent, wall street speculators, largely forced on the rest of us?
If you want to avoid picking up another quest immediately after turning one in, as you talk to Preston, turn and face the other direction.
Hate the Forged. I purposely built all my turrets in The Slog settlement facing south towards that factory. Then when I fast travel there, they’re often fighting my provisioners, and usually come close enough that my turrets then light them up too.
They’re coming, in the form of the Tesla Model 3, Chevy Bolt, and the Gen 2 Nissan Leaf.
Am I the only thinking this looks like a life sized Hot Wheels car?
On the PC, a fun thing to do is to spawn a deathclaw or three in “safe” faction areas. It’s really fun watching the slaughter.
I did that once after the first speech by Maxson. Was hilarious watching the deathclaws making mincemeat out of everyone who wasn’t essential. Too bad their large size caused them to get stuck…
