Halo doesn’t use weapons or vehicles that remotely resemble anything in the modern day. Mostly because it’s sci-fi and set hundreds of years in the future.

But I recall in the N64 game Goldeneye they had to rename just about every gun in the game to something generic, like the AK-47 being changed to the KF7 Soviet, or

Who goes to a Godzilla film to watch human characters? Be honest, you just want to see giant monsters beating each other up in a film like this. There are plenty of non-kaiju movies if I wanted to care about the human characters.

Solution, make them sound like the Jetsons’ car:

I hope those Republican lawmakers realize they’d be screwing with American jobs, technology, and oddly enough, coal miners, by doing this.

Lots of EV’s are built in the US, such as the Chevy Volt and Bolt, Nissan has a plant in Tennessee that builds Leafs, and then there’s Tesla. So screw all those guys and let China

You should still get it, because the less oil you need to burn, the more you screw over OPEC and Big Oil.

Or just buy a used Chevy Volt, and save even more money, and get more electric range, 35-38 miles, vs the Prime’s 25 miles. Not to mention more power and fun-to-drive factor.

Yeah, until OPEC and Big Oil decides they need more of your money again, and jack up prices, because screw you, you’re entirely dependent on them.

And many countries worldwide are banning gas cars in favor of plug-ins. The current US govt is moving backwards in this regard, and will screw Americans over as China takes

Gas cars aren’t cleaner than EV’s, especially in the long run. Even a “coal powered” EV is cleaner than most gas cars short of a Prius being driven as if grandma was driving it.

And as the grid cleans up and uses renewable energy sources, EV’s get cleaner. And don’t forget that oil refineries need to use that same

Look at used Chevy Volts. They’re hatchbacks as well despite their sedan exterior, and used ones can be had for $8-15k. They can drive 35-50 miles on electric, but gets 37 mpg when running on gas.

Don’t let the low price fool you, they’re still great commuter cars. Just misunderstood, but take one for a test drive

Oh, gas prices are going up? Haven’t gotten gas in weeks with my Chevy Volt.

OPEC can kiss my gas after years of raping and pillaging my wallet.

Oh, and here’s an Honest Game Trailer about it:

This should tell you all you need to know about the game...

There’s a tvtropes that covers this very subject:

I would compare it more to getting a Nissan Leaf with battery degradation, aka less range.

It’s a bit unfair to the Volt because it has a gas engine backup and is considered a plug-in hybrid due to its gas engine.

Another thing crippling the Bolt is lack of a fast charging network. GM has specifically said they’re letting third party companies build them out, much in the way gas stations are built by private businesses. And I wonder how committed dealers will be to selling them when they have relatively fewer maintenance needs

I think you goofed up on the Chevy Bolt price. It’s $37500 pre-tax and incentives. But using this example, the CO tax rebate immediately knocks it down to $32,500, with the final price being $25k assuming you qualify for the entire $7500 Federal tax credit (you only get back what you owe on your Federal taxes the year

So this?

Well, if you have a hundred credit cards you can use, go for it. I think Tesla would find it suspicious that 100 cars are all going to the same person/address.

Plus people who want a Tesla are probably savvy enough to realize they can cut the middle-man out (aka the dealership), and buy direct from Tesla, and order

How long before the internet makes them go super-saiyan?

It was from a car commercial a few years back. I want to say VW before the diesel scandal.

You need the Nep-nep!
