They are the top of the food chain out in the sticks....there aren’t many wild dogs etc. to offset that either. The dogs or dingo crosses don’t seem to cross territory to often with feral cats and neither do wild boar, so they kind of have their own smörgåsbord of native mammals and birds plus some domestic animals…

Why should he? I used have a pet feral cat named samson who was missing a front tooth and part of an ear....and he was a right bastard. He ate a small dog once and loads of large possums, I can only imagine what they get up to in the wild. They get big because our native animals have fantastic nutrients

Apart from snakes, we don’t actually have that many outright dangerous native animals ( Tassie Devils are mean if you try to steal their food or probably pke them with a stick same for dingoes) but most nasty mammals are introduced
