Ugh, I got a 200 convertible once as a rental (the site said it would be a Mustang) and it was one of the worst cars I’ve ever driven. Horrible at any price.
Sayonara Wild Hearts is absolutely fantastic with some crazy good music and everyone should play it.
Would be interesting to see how these stack up to the true state of the art in self-driving - Waymo.
That’s a very privileged position to take. There are lots of families out there who can’t afford for their children not to take jobs. Obviously it shouldn’t be necessary, but the reality is that it is, and trying to deny that only makes the problem worse.
I’ve literally never bought a loot box, but random rewards can be very fun. Would Diablo be half as interesting if nothing dropped except money and you had to buy all standard equipment from a shop? Would anyone do endless boss runs?
It’s both. The DMCA provides the formalized process for copyright takedowns and responses.
I’ve always wanted to do this to a Town Car, but I prefer the 80s boxy style. Unfortunately, the last time I looked, an ‘89 TC went for almost 10k!
Weird that apparently “enjoying a powerful car responsibly when you get a little open road” is now contentious on a car enthusiast site.
Not sure when people will learn - Nintendo is a shitty company and they hate you. If you do anything that is more complex than “give them money and play their game” their lawyers will come after you.
DMCA basically allows services like YouTube to exist in the first place.
Nobody needs it, sure, but it definitely makes the drive more fun when you’re on an onramp or first at a light. A little bit of a rush to bring a smile to your face is welcome during a routine drive that would otherwise put you to sleep.
Just go a couple years older and get an S5 instead. IIRC base spec for an S model is Premium Plus, but then you also get much more power.
If it takes down Facebook, then good.
You shouldn’t be glad you almost bought one, because they’re refunding anyone who did and letting you keep the chromecast (useful on its own) and controller (useful as a pretty good PC controller).
... am I the only one that is seriously surprised by this - not that they do it, but that other people are surprised that they’re doing it?
Maybe Florida sucks (expected), but have you driven across the country recently? Wind turbines are everywhere, and trucks driving turbine blades around are all over the place on 80.
Not even necessarily home storage - grid-scale storage would benefit immensely from cheap batteries. Add tons of cheap wind/solar and you’re golden.
I guess it’s common for rich folk to think they should be eternal. Hubris and greed seem to go hand-in-hand.
That red that Mazda is using nowadays is quite possibly the prettiest red automotive paint ever used.
