While “Ski Lodge” was a great episode, “Look Before You Leap” was my all-time favorite and was a great display of the kind of character Frasier was: well-meaning, but not afraid to not live up to the same standards he set for others. Which makes the ending a masterpiece in comeuppance.

That is such a great episode! I love when Daphne’s ex asks for the dog’s name and everyone in the room shouts “Eddie!”

“Guns and Neuroses” is one of my favorites -- just a wonderful wrap up to Frasier and Lilith. I rewatch it regularly.

Any list not stating “The Two Mrs. Cranes” as the best episode is a fail.

No, we you see, we are all decent people! We’ve just been lying to you this entire time!

Believe it or not, I somehow never got around to playing Undertale, so I’ll be popping that onto the Switch for the weekend.

I’m replaying Oblivion for a podcast (shameless plug, the show is called Square Roots). It’s a great game, obvi, but now that I’ve hit the halfway point I’m reminded how much this game changes as you play. Of course, that’s standard for RPGs but I can’t think of many games where you really FEEL it like Oblivion. It’s

“Free of the rigorous certification procedures that greet a new Sony or Nintendo release”

I will probably be finishing the new Rusty Lake game over the weekend, since they don’t normally take too long and are great two or three-sitting games.

The Great British Sewing Bee is FANTASTIC! I would love to see that come over here (along with Patrick!). I love how there’s no side-eye, cutthroat dramatics. Everyone genuinely wants to help their fellow contestants and you learn so much!

i finally finished my xcom enemy within campign after 4 years. It was fun, but truly the difficulty curve is a mess. At first if an alien glances at you you die and you don’t have any money. By the end, i bought all the foundry project i had the materials for just to spend the money and since healing and armor is so

This weekend I’ll mostly be playing Dragon Quest XI. It’s just so nice, you know? Puts a smile on your face and keeps it there. My wife has never seen a Dragon Quest game either, so she’s enjoying it. It’s no wonder that localization took forever, because the translation and voice acting are pitch-perfect.

Look, it was either Jimmy James or Adam West. We all know this.

I’m trying to get moving on several books, although just one would suffice. I’m so burned out that I can’t focus long enough to get immersed.

I wrote a long thing about Ōkami in preparation for the post. I’ll post it later, because I feel a strong need to write a bit about how this site has affected me. I also tried to post this earlier, but Kinja simply refused to accept it’s posting. If the earlier one somehow comes up, I’ll flag it for deletion.

This really has been a long time coming. It was only a matter of time before their unspoken tension devolved into a full scale falling out.

It’s impossible to me that Twin Peaks isn’t somehow in every category - it just seems incredibly wrong. Kyle Maclachlan played three wildly different, excellent roles, and Naomi Watts stole every scene she was in. The show was an absolute masterpiece that’s the most convoluted, weird, and innovative 18 hours of TV

Yeah, but the Emmy’s love giving awards to people who have won Oscars, so Allison is likely a lock for another Emmy.

To be fair, Twin Peaks got a lot of technical nominations not included here:
