Just because you like someone doesn’t mean they merit induction in the Hall of Fame, I like plenty of acts, many on this year’s list, who aren’t even fucking close.

Moody Blues
Radiohead
Eurythmics
Bon Jovi

I see Phish was once again not nominated, even though they have been eligible for the past three years. Glad the Meters got a nomination though. They should absolutely make it in.

At this point Rock n Roll = pretty much any genre of music as far as this thing is concerned.

This is the first time the Moody Blues have been nominated?? Man, the Rock and Roll Hall of fame is so nuts.

I’d like to take a year off to kick some really shit acts out of the Hall, or at least replace them with something more deserving. War replaces Red Hot Chili Peppers. Eric B and Rakim/KRS-One replace Beastie Boys. Nothing replaces Bob Seeger, Journey, KISS, and other crap-rock from the 70s/80s.

upstream color deserves its place on any list of scifi. it’s honestly not that confusing of a film, nor is it intended to be —it just requires attentive viewing.

I agree, Gattaca deserves a spot in the top 20 at least.

There’s a few films omitted from the list that I probably would have included (Gattaca, The Martian, Gravity, Serenity, and Ex Machina), but overall, a pretty solid list of fantastic films.

You thought it was waiting for you just over the horizon but it belonged to someone else the whole time and has been gone for…
