Hey, WTAE! Sadly, it wasn't a story by Wendy Bell because that would have amused me.

Broadway Cares does something similar (and, I believe, started earlier)
called Broadway Backwards. So, for example, here's Chita Rivera
performing "All I Care About":

“I remember another gentle visitor from the heavens, he came in peace
and then died, only to come back to life, and his name was … E.T., the
extra terrestrial. I loved that little guy.”

They were written by Paul Dini if I remember correctly.

It was an Apocalypse Now parody starring a Jerry Lewis caricature - two things us 90's kids loved.

TazMania had one of the best theme songs of the time. And I'm saying that knowing it's from the same era as the Disney Afternoon.

People who enjoy superhero cartoons and would also appreciate Hello, Dolly! parodies. So, also me.

They've updated it. Rob Paulsen, voice of Yakko, has a voice acting podcast and he's had a couple of episodes devoted to the music of Animaniacs.

Since you already mentioned the spoiler, I can go on to say that finding out what happened to the dog actually made me angry.

It's been a while since I read it but the part I most remember is the dog. Especially the end.

Totally agree that Auron was the best FFX character and one of the best characters in the series overall. It's just silly to me that they seem so allergic to middle aged characters. I think Cid in FFVII is supposedly in his 30's as well.

I definitely fall in the category of people who are aware of how absurd and sometimes tedious this game could be ("Oh no, I pressed X too many times! That's okay, though, because I've still got about 5 more minutes before Eden's summon is finished!") but still feel nothing but affection for it. I remember when I

I have to go with Norg, if only for how superfluous it is. Also, trying to wrap my head around how Cid and Edea developed and established the whole SeeD system in about a decade.

I've read a couple of Jack Benny biographies and stories about his friendship with George Burns were always a highlight. (Stories about how much everyone disliked Mary Livingstone were the saddest parts.)

JJ Feid used to be completely indistinguishable from Tom HIddleston in my mind. I haven't seen him in a few years, though, so maybe he looks different now.

Dreamgirls did not let Anika Noni Rose sing "Ain't No Party" which was the main performance I was looking forward to since I heard she was cast. I'm still bitter about it.

The Phantom of the Opera. Les Mis has a larger cast so there are at least some people in some scenes who can sing. With Phantom you're stuck with Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum.

I'm looking forward to Season 4 but I don't think the tweet was a clue about the episodes as much as a sign that the set is built and dressed. I'm also not sure "objectionable PR stunt the show has pulled" is really an accurate characterization of Caitlin Moran ambushing the actors with fanfiction.

Really? I find the STD version much more upbeat and energetic.
