It's one that tends be underrated by TMBG fans. But "Spiraling Shape" and "The Bells Are Ringing" are two of my all-time favorites. And it has the original versions of "Till My Head Falls Off" and "Metal Detector" (although I prefer the Severe Tire Damage version of the former and any of the live, brass section

I think there is some confusion there regarding Alan Davies and Queer as Folk. Davies did play a character named Bob but in the RTD series Bob & Rose, in which he plays a gay man who falls in love with a woman (it also starred Lesley Sharp, Jessica Hynes and Penelope Wilton and it worth a look). I'm assuming that

I've moved on to Fire Emblem: Revelations. Currently at the point where the kids come with Offspring Seals so the story is on hold while I try to get all the kids before their Paralogues get too difficult. My Avatar/Niles created Nina looks promising so far and I'm hoping my Rinkah/Keaton Velouria turns out to the

Does anyone remember the 1990 Punisher video game for PC? I used to play it all the time when I was a kid and I recently found an emulator so I can play it again. I can finally relive the joy of throwing grenades at Neo Nazis in Bryant Park while wearing scuba gear…

Hello random Jimmy Carr appearance. I've never seen his stand-up but I've enjoyed his panel show hosting and appearances. He takes being the butt of the joke very well, particularly over the tax stuff. Still can't decide if the laugh is endearing or annoying, though.

I remember reading that New Yorker article. It's been years since I thought about it but it must have made an impact.

To annoy me, I'm pretty sure. Especially after what they did to QI. And with Doctor Who not airing any new episodes for a while and the Top Gear revamp, there may be even fewer high profile British shows anchoring the channel.

If you wait until Chapter 20, the kids come with Offspring Seals which advance them and brings them up to comparable levels with their parents.

If you use a Heart Seal, you can switch her to an Archer. It's definitely worth doing it as soon as possible.

Downloaded Fire Emblem: Revelation yesterday. Am currently on Chapters 25 for Birthright and Conquest. So it'll be an exercise in self control making sure I finish those before starting the third. Also, after about a dozen plays of the Boo Camp map, I only just discovered that you can break through the wall and

I was in that sweet spot where I remembered reading the book but not well enough that nitpicky things bothered me so I really enjoyed this while it was on during Christmas. The cast is excellent and it's just wonderful to look at.

I'll believe it when I see it. Especially since we're in the middle of a LWT season. (Speaking of Zaltzman podcasts, I'm also missing Answer Me This!. But at least I'm sure that one will come back.)

I love BBC Radio 4 but I think it would be more fair to compare their podcasts to the ones from NPR rather than How Stuff Works. They both have the resources and experience of years of radio to produce content.

It's not a podcast but Buglers who are missing Andy Zaltzman talking about his love of cricket might be interested in listening to Keep Calman Carry On, a BBC Radio 4 show. The premise of the series is that comedian Susan Calman (one of my favorite UK panel show regulars) is finding ways to relax and episode one has

I wonder how much it helps that he is also Mark Rylance, generally considered the greatest stage actor working today? He's relatively unknown to the general public but he's not a complete unknown and is very highly respected among those who do know him.

Not directly related to the topic, I just wanted to mention how happy I am that Rich Moore is doing so well. Apparently listening to someone for hours of Simpsons and Futurama commentaries results in a feeling of affection and well wishing.

Still playing Fire Emblem Fate. Yesterday was the release of the Gold DLC which I haven't played but am really looking forward to, especially for Conquest.

I suspected that Colbert had a greater variety of guests but I wouldn't have guessed that the percentage of actors was under 50% (42.8% to be exact). I'm happy to see that he's the only who hasn't had a reality show star on yet and is also the only show that has had an astronaut.

I genuinely never expected to see anything this solid about this project. I'm still not completely convinced it's ever going to completed but I'm slightly more optimistic than ever before. I wonder if they'll even get to the introductions of Eddie and Susannah.
