Also of note, Charlie Brooker's annual year end review.

I've lost count of the number of time I have that moment of disappointment at seeing Disney's A Christmas Carol on the TV listings only to find out it's the Jim Carrey version instead of Scrooge McDuck. So glad to see this one still gets broadcast.
I've really enjoyed him on his panel show appearances, particularly Would I Lie to You? Here's an example: https://www.youtube.com/wat…
He's not on this year's Big Fat Quiz. It's Mitchell, Ayoade, Rob Brydon, Jo Brand, Claudia Winkleman and Greg Davies.
That was pretty painful and a waste of a show that otherwise had a really solid lineup in David Mitchell, Richard Ayoade, Sarah Millican and Kevin Bridges. It looks like they learned their lesson this year, though.
If you consider YouTube streaming, then yes.
Eh, stop living in the past (although I'm particularly pleased to see Peep Show and Rev on the list). This year in British holiday TV highlights:
Obviously Judy. I'm also one of those who prefer Earnest Sinatra over Cool Sinatra.
I'm not worried. But then the fact that Colbert is going against the grain in not making everything viral ready is, for a me, a feature, not a bug.
I love that version of Much Ado — particularly the actor who played Don Pedro who I usually don't pay that much attention to. It's also the only Tennant Shakespeare comedy filmed and he is such a joy to watch.
Seconding Steven Universe — it's the first Cartoon Network show I've wanted to watch regularly which means I'm now among those frustrated with the network's bizarre scheduling decisions. (What is your obsession with Teen Titans Cartoon Network?)
That's a much more depressing answer than I was expecting.
What's Jake Lloyd been up to lately?
He was turned into a Cyberman like all dead people were.
Possibly, but if they have the ability to beam torpedoes to enemy ships, they have been awfully reluctant to use it so far.
Is it really that much of a contest? I prefer Star Wars overall but The Enterprise has a Holodeck.
According to her QI appearance, appearing naked to freak out Stephen Fry is something Emma Thompson has done before: https://www.youtube.com/wat…
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn also had some pretty sad Christmas presents. The father had to pretend a washer was a new watch if I remember right. But it was a happy Christmas because the kids we able to bring home a Christmas tree by virtue of not falling over when it was thrown at them.
I didn't see anyone mention The Trip so I'm just going to say pretty much all of the The Trip and the The Trip to Italy. I learned not to watch it on an empty stomach.
I just started Absolute Pandemonium, the new memoir by BRIAN BLESSED. He writes in the introduction that you should read the book in his voice, even throwing in some capslock to demonstrate, and it really is like listening to him tell stories. One of the first things he writes about is his memory of being born so…
