That announcement could have used more Papyrus.

I agree with this. I'd also point out that if you watch the features of the original trilogy you'd also find a lot of frustrating moments and times when Jackson is sort of making things up on the fly.

A few hundred mp3 makes you a music nerd now? So what does my nearly 1000 They Might Be Giants tracks make me?

Are there Wire fans who were under the impression that it was a ratings smash? I agree that the Internet has a tendency to overestimate its importance but I have yet to see any evidence that networks prioritize hashtags over ratings.

David Mitchell's performance as the DJ in the radio show is one my favorite performances of his.

One of my favorite Mitchell deliveries is from the backstage sketch where Webb is asking if people can levitate. The way he says "Yes, it is 'No'" is wonderful.

Bruiser had some very good sketches but my personal favorites don't involve Mitchell and Webb. They're the husband and wife sketches with Martin Freeman and Olivia Colman: https://www.youtube.com/wat…

Is this a genuine preference of Lucas' or was his staff just playing a prank?

I'm also on board. I'm a bit biased since I've been a fan of Whishaw's for years so the more Whishaw the better. But those last 15 minutes were very tense and I'm really curious to see what happens next. And find out what the deal with Broadbent's character is.

Does this include Michael Jackson's contributions?

BBC2's promising-looking London Spy starts tonight. I say promising because I say that about any non-Bond Ben Whishaw project. And with this on, I also get Jim Broadbent, Charlotte Rampling and a dash of Mark Gatiss.

That could be fun. Tennant and Tate really have great chemistry and it's always nice to see them working together. I'd also like to see some Donna interacting with Captain Jack since that seems like a fun combination that we didn't really get as much as we could have.

I just finished this yesterday and I loved it. I don't know how much someone who isn't already a fan would like it. But, as I mentioned in the What Are You Reading? article, I've very much his own voice. He goes into the background and his state of mind during a lot of the albums, mainly the post-Attractions work,

Best of all, no cow stage.

I interrupted A Kim Jong-Il production to start Elvis Costello's Unfaithful Music & Disappearing Ink. It's definitely meandering and scattershot but it's so completely Costello's voice and how I would expect a memoir of his to go that I'm really enjoying it.

I'll take anything that gives Amy Sedaris an excuse to appear on The Late Show.

He'll always be David Krumholtz from Life With Mikey and Addams Family Value to me.
