That one pissed me off the most. Way to trivialize medical degrees, mommyjackers!

They need to knock up the bio mom of those fetuses with the surrogate mom's embryos. Then trade when the babies are born. Then make a wacky screwball comedy.
That's a valid point.
I like Taylor Swift. I'm 36, own two properties, am a professor of engineering, and am in a happy long-term relationship. And my partner's 51 and finds me sufficiently mature for his tastes. Don't judge. Maybe I like "young" music because it reminds me of my undergraduate students. :)
That's a valid point.
Interesting. Thank you for taking the time to explain the subtleties of your opinion. I will see if I have a fuck somewhere in my back pocket to give.
We were under no such threat. Thank you for inventing a scenario in your head so that you could get all righteously indignant on our behalf though! We "damn sheep" appreciate your concern.
Which, collecting our fingerprints? Or the situation at the French school?
Apology accepted. I understand completely that sometimes we speak with hyperbole without thinking. But to say rape is worse than murder is... well let's just say that some of us rape survivors turn out just fine and are happy to be alive! I understand that you meant no offense though. Virtual cookie?
Uh can I just pipe up here as a rape survivor and say that I'd rather NOT have been murdered? I'm pretty happy to be alive, thankyouverymuch.
Sorry I didn't click through and read the original article at the time of my first post, and it wasn't mentioned in the Jez article at the time either, although I see it is now. I agree with you here; that part is completely unacceptable in a free society.
Is that true in French law, or the author's speculation? And if it is true in French law, has it ever been used? Will it ever be used? We don't know the answer to this question based on this story because none of the 500 refused to be tested.
It's interesting to me how easily some people give away a rare chance to catch a violent criminal for some undefined notion of "civil rights".
You are absolutely correct. I didn't click through and read it the first time. But is this true, or the author's speculation?
My apologies. I did not click through and read the original article, which does in fact say, " "but those who say no will become potential suspects who could be taken into custody." But is that true or is that the author's speculation?
Did I say that? And are the French police arresting students who are refusing DNA testing? Nope; they just said that if they refused DNA testing, they could not be eliminated as suspects. Sounds reasonable to me.
I'm pretty sure that my fingerprints *will* be put into a database. However, I'm not sure if that makes me mildly uncomfortable for any rational reason, or just because I live in a small town in Alaska where we are all supposed to be suspicious of the guvmint at all times. But I'm pissed that my office was vandalized,…
