Respect. My family moved when I was in first, second, and fifth grade and I was absolutely expected to just roll with it. I am still not quite adjusted and I’m in my damn 30s.

My brother did get the sympathy. My dad was commuting and living in a different city during the week. They kept up that arrangement until my brother graduated, although to be fair it was partly because they had problems selling the house.
GOOD. I’m glad they are taking Sasha’s feelings into consideration. My family moved from my hometown while I was in high school. The move was absolutely necessary, something I knew even then. But my parents’ response to my fears about going to a different school was a lot of eye rolls and calling me a selfish wuss. It…
All the other students there are the children of diplomats and other important political leaders...so I suspect they’re used to keeping quiet.
Maybe it’s all the vodka I have drank tonight but damn if I don’t have a lump in my throat.
Well said.
Good for them. One thing I can say is the kids at Sidwell seem to be pretty cool. You really don’t get a lot coming out about Sasha and Malia. Seems like they are protected there by the staff and other students. Chelsea Clinton went here too and it was the same. $38K a year sheesh...I wonder if they got a sibling…
He was used to that vitriol whilst a private citizen. Racism isn't anything new to black people in the Americas. I think it shocked white people, who thought the presidency ought to be treated with more respect. The reality is that race and racism are in the foundation of the Republic. Unless we have a time machine,…
Obama is the dad we all deserve.
For all the hate, vitriol, subtle and overt racism that was aimed at this man over the last eight years, did he not handle it with uncommon grace and dignity? I never asked President Obama to be a perfect President, such a thing is an impossibility. But he played the long game, never panicked, never showed fluster,…
As great as "Senior Year" Obama is, I love "Dad" Obama the most
Your use of this gif is so funny because 30 Rock and Studio 60 came out at the same time and I remember everyone saying that 30 Rock would blow and be done in one year and Studio 60 would be amazeballs. And then the opposite happened.
I love Aaron Sorkin and Studio 60 and I don’t care who knows it!
It almost quelled the ache in my heart that I’ll never be able to date Sarah Paulson OR Holland Taylor because of that, only because they are actually perfect.
Wait, Holland Taylor and Sarah Paulson are an item? How did I not know this?! I already liked Paulson, but that tidbit of info made her that much cooler in my book. Holland Taylor is a national treasure.
It’s so bad. My boyfriend and I happened upon a re-run while we were stuck in a Cincinnati hotel room because our connecting flight had been cancelled and we were like “Wow, this is so much worse than I remember.”
Because as children, we didn’t know any better?
A cameo wouldn’t hurt their poor, privileged asses.
I’m generally the queen of eighties and nineties nostalgia but Full House just doesn't inspire that warm and fuzzy feeling.
I spent all of my Friday night watching this sitting in my pajamas and group texting all of my late twenties friends who were also doing the same. Our consensus is that it kind of sucks but none of us care. They definitely know their audience and have a lot of little *winks* to the camera throughout.
