Don’t mistake this as an endorsement of the OP’s post, but I’ve never seen a sanders supporting tow-truck driver in my life.

aaaaaaand.... you’re wrong.
Bullshit.
Man, this extremely shitty comment didn’t really go well for ya, did it?
He told Paterno because Paterno was God there. If anyone could do something, it was Paterno! But he didn't.
It also probably makes “zero sense” to you that Paterno would knowingly employ a child molester for decades, yet he did.
Absolutely a kid would trust Paterno over their parents or cops. Paterno was viewed as almost god-like. Akin to a priest with as much as he was held as a moral figure. Of course, a child would equate that with the person they could trust the utmost. (Are you not from the area? I am, believe me on this. Actual churches…
So reminiscent of the Catholic Church.
Seriously, fuck you and the Joe Pa dick you rode in on.
“makes zero sense.”
Just because you say those things are unbelievable doesn’t mean they are.
“Who said you can’t achieve sainthood while looking the other way when kids are being molested?”
Will this finally stop people from asking for that fucking statue back?
Kids are getting a little more astute with regard to their (narrow window of) leverage. They should exploit it as much as possible before they themselves agree to be exploited.
This is also much like the argument in the pros that players need to show loyalty to teams, yet every team will do whatever it can within the rules of its particular league to get rid of a player as soon as he’s outlived his usefulness. (And the same fans will applaud the team for doing so.)
“Do as I say, not as I do” has pretty much summed up the relationship between older and younger people for about 10,000 years or so.
1. where is the ire towards the coaches when they leave showing no loyalty?
Tom Luginbill: All of Jon Gruden’s hot takes about millennials and social media with none of the coaching experience or social capital.
It’s crazy to me about the double standard people hold for athletes. A kid tweets out something stupid and it’s “Character concerns” and “maturity issues.” A full grown man tweets out some piss baby rant and it’s “Kids these days need to toughen up!”
“Particularly with respect to student athletes, these guys gotta toughen up, and they’ve gotta grow up, and they’ve gotta do it in a hurry.”
