In cold logic yes but, you also can wear a Hugo Boss suit then go mountain climbing. Nobody’ll stop you but you’ll end up looking silly.

at least take it to a fucking track and blow the motor. What they did was low speed and not even remotely fun.

No. Using a Ferrari to ford a river is worse than keeping it in a garage. Driving a car as it was intended to be driven > keeping it in storage >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> destroying it

I agree - this is more like “using” a Maserati by driving it off the third floor of a parking garage.

Is this a stupid question with an obvious answer?

They’re designed for paved roads and racetracks, not heated garages or for fording rivers. This was just an exercise in stupidity, arrogance and boastfulness. If they had taken vintage Range Rovers, Defenders, Wranglers or Land Cruisers I would give them my earnest praise.

Neither of these applications is how these cars are meant to be used. They are, at the very least, designed for paved roads.

Surely we can find a happy medium, no?

Lax Lives Matter

This is great Kinja.

In my house we put both the seat and the lid down every time. Who wants to see inside the toilet bowl anyway?

The woman wasn’t killed by law enforcement. She was killed by the actions of the driver. The police backed off when the driver started being dangerous to other drivers. Is it sad that someone died in a situation they hand no control over, yes. Is it worth getting in a twist over internet gallows humor, no.

What the hell are you talking about? The guy friggin killed himself, and his passenger (which is a crime itself) by crashing into a jet on a flight line on a military base after eluding police and driving the wrong way on the road.

The answer to your question is Title IX. The school had a duty to provide her assistance and investigate her claims. It failed.

Even if a survivor chooses to speak or take other actions to support their healing, we must not publicly comment in a way that could compromise student confidentiality or inadvertently discourage future students from coming forward.

This simply hides them or deletes them?

Wait...why would you double click or hit F2 when you can just start typing in a cell? I’m confused

That’s not sarcasm. It’s acting dumb on purpose.

I work for an accounting firm, and its easy sometimes to forget how far ahead of the Excel curve everyone I work with is. All of these tips are things that I wouldn’t even think to share as a “useful shortcut” - they’re more “basic knowledge” of things that you find a faster way to do later.

I think companies really need to get out of the habit on firing people because the internet demands a sacrifice. It only encourages people to continue using toxic behaviors to push their agendas.
