We did a taste comparison, three identical potatoes.

Sounds like that bar does a shit job of cleaning their tap lines.

Yeah, I don’t share ratings on social media or anything. I use Untappd only to track what I’ve had before, so I can (hopefully) avoid a beer I didn’t like.

I’m not going to besmirch pepperoni, esp. as a pizza topping, but you point out the biggest problem (IMHO) with this pie — the salt factor. That much pepperoni would make a slice so overly salty I think it’d be tough to eat. I had a Massey’s pepperoni pizza recently:

Not funny — to be expected, I’d say. Virtually any braised dish is going to be better leftover, after it’s sat in the juices in the fridge. I imagine the same would be true when you take the same ingredients and pressure-cook them rather than braise (or slow cook) them.

And that’s all well and good ... FOR YOU. But perhaps other people would like a more social (dare I say, bar-like) experience while they sample a brewery’s products. And maybe the business owners would like to have a successful business without having to turn over a healthy percentage of their margin to a distributor.

Trump can only fill the spot via the vacancies act if she resigns. If her departure is involuntary, he can’t do it. That’s one of the reasons why it’s important how Rosenstein exits.

That’s likely a pipe dream. Even if the GOP gets clobbered in November, the new Senate doesn’t take over until January. Though they’ll be in a lame duck session — especially if the Senate will flip come January — I have no doubt McConnell will push through to confirmation whoever is then up for the open SCOTUS robe,

And that’s the part that makes me laugh at the GOP. They have a dozen or more qualified SCOTUS candidates who would also vote to overturn Roe, etc. And yet they’re wasting spending all their political capital on Kav. They could’ve cut bait with Kav last week or the week before, put ACB or other FedSoc luminary up,

If he “has the goods”, he damn well better produce them, and quickly. His behavior vis a vis Kav thus far has been just grandstanding and media-playing. No matter how credible his client is, Grassley isn’t going to keep reopening hearings on Kav. Time to put up or shut up.

And Taiwan also is, in fact, not Thailand. (Lookin’ at you, Spoutinwyzer)

The floor is yours.....

And SHOULD he be confirmed: every one of his judgments gets questioned.

While Chicagoans may not be totally anti-ketchup (e.g, still welcome on fries), they definitely are anti-ketchup-on-hotdogs, whether or not it is a Chicago-style dog.

Now this is the use-case for this product that I could support. Camping/hiking type activities, where one cannot pull a carton of eggs out of the fridge and put a frying pan on the stove. But that appears to be an ‘off-label use’ for this product, as Iceland expects buyers to ‘cook’ it in their own homes.

I would argue there’s considerable daylight, in both time and expense. Additional time: brown the sausage. Additional expense: chub of sausage, bag of shredded cheese. Perhaps the end result is approximately the same, in terms of quality of egg product, but to make a “Simple Scramble” from scratch is much more

Not only that, but at least the JCaE cup has portioned ingredients to complete the “dish” (like Blue Apron), which otherwise would be time-consuming (chopping/precooking the veg) and costly (e.g., buying a whole pepper and whole onion but using ~10%). The pre-scrambled eggs is just eggs, saving nothing on cost

Though I usually bake my bacon, there are times I just need to fry a few strips, and preheating my oven to 375℉ is a waste of both time and energy.

I thought that too, though if they want to keep the mystery alive forever, it would have to be a crew member Glover and Murai could really trust. Probably not just some crew member who might spout off after a few beers.
