Maybe you’re thinking of Freeway? Also an Atari game but this one involved chickens and you could only move up or down. In 2-player it was whoever got the most chickens across the road.

I don’t hate it. I could maybe want the heroes to be closer to 20 instead of 14 but it’s a neat aesthetic and a fresh take. Still, it’s for kids so I can see why they did that even if the cartoons I grew up with had grown-ass men as the heroes.
That second Venom poster should be reversed so that Venom is on the left placing him under Tom Hardy’s name. I know they like to list actors at the top by the prominence of their role but it’s a minor pet peeve when the name doesn’t line up with the actor on a poster.
Dooku used Force Lightning in AotC against Yoda. Er, attempted to use it.
Looks cool but I’m more interested in the stuff that doesn’t involve characters we already know. Lots of awesome in that trailer and I’m looking forward to it.
I thought it was cool. Not everything from the sequels was garbage.
I’m kinda in the same boat.
Novak Djokovic should have left his damned mouth shut:
The employees responsible (or rather irresponsible) should absolutely face consequences but management knew about, allowed, tolerated, or participated in these practices and this culture. They can’t be absolved of fault.
Only read 4-5 issues but it was both. Lots of the same characters plus they were recruiting new ones.
The Crimson Guardsmen were all full-time lawyers and accountants. COBRA ran several shell corporations (most notably ARBCO) for shuffling their funds around. Destro and Baroness were royalty from Europe so old money. Destro was also an arms dealer because of course he was. Basically, they were heavily capitalistic…
Post-Marvel, I think it was IDW that relaunched the comic line and updated it to be more in line with modern times. COBRA was a global organization that recruited heavily from the Middle East and South America while still having plenty of the old gang still around (Dreadnoks, etc.).
Grenade near the helicopter. Scarlett, Rock’n’Roll, Stalker, and maybe Duke were in the chopper. Snake-Eyes closed the door to protect them from the blast.
COTD
Pretty sure a trading algorithm somewhere would scan that headline and cause a flash crash on one of the major exchanges. This would have been awesome.
Skip’s brother has a very successful restaurant business here in Chicago and I would love to try it but Skip is SUCH a twat that I don’t even want to buy food from his brother.
Intergang? Awesome!
Robert Patrick is an old-ass man and he still creeps me out. Perfectly cast in The Faculty, too.
We did Hello Fresh for a while, stopped, tried Blue Apron, went back to HF, and now we’ve stopped. It’s nice not having to deal with grocery shopping. Even ordering online can be stressful but it’s so less tense than going to the store during a pandemic. We selected what we wanted to eat and got it the following week.…
It also means not having to worry about grocery shopping for at least three meals in a week. Grocery shopping is stressful, moreso during the pandemic. Grocery delivery is great as long as the shopper actually gets what you ordered (no, Italian seasoned bread crumbs are not Panko, godddammit!) but sometimes it’s nice…
