She’s a cop, so of course she’s lying. It’s what they do.

If only Pizza Hut had some kind of system to track what was ordered by whom, and when it was paid for, that could clear up all these questions. Oh, wait...

That still doesn’t make it anywhere near decent pizza.

I had no involvement with those papers bearing my signature, or those security videos showing my face!”

I’m still not seeing why I would want to eat from Chick-fi-A any day of the week.

Minaj’s music has never appealed to me, but I’ve withheld any opinion of her as a person, because I just didn’t know much about her. But now that she’s come out publicly as a raving idiot and a garbage fire of a person, fcuk her. I hope she gets everything she deserves out of this.

Because cops are criminals. They do what they want, because they know they can usually get away with it, up to and including rape and murder.

They spend that much on every wrongful death suit they lose.

Until I see video and witness corroboration, I’m assuming the cops are lying about the gun.

Wow, you’re really bad at this. Negotiating a payout is part of renegotiating the contract. “We can’t fulfill the contract as it originally stipulates, so what can we do to make everyone happy considering the new circumstances?” That’s what WB did, and what Disney did not do.

No, I don’t think I do get your point. Your employer pays you according to the contract you and they signed when you were hired. If they decided unilaterally to void that contract and pay whatever they felt like, you would be rightfully upset and probably take them to court. That’s what’s going on here.

Her contract specified an exclusive theatrical release, and Disney didn’t do that. It’s pretty clear cut.

So how much money should Disney make over this? Is a billion dollars enough? 2 billion? Three? They are well able to afford paying what they are contractually obligated to pay. That’s the issue here. You look like an idiot and a tool, standing up for the giant, filthy rich mega-corp.

Johansson is far from being my favorite actress, and I’ve been appreciating Disney’s products lately- they’re one of the few streaming services I pay for. But Disney is a rapacious megacorp, and it’s been their pattern to screw over the people who make them gobs of money. Alan Dean Foster is still having to fight for

Perhaps you missed the part where the girls figured it out?

And he was invisible for all but a few seconds.

Or a veteran back from shooting civilians in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Oops, it’s starting to peel. Hey, what’s this underneath?
