Ah, Mr Doo Bee. Growing up in the 70's and early 80's was a weird time to be a kid. Burnt out hippies were making children’s programing back then and us baby Gen Xers were getting a secondhand high off of our television screens. I mean, they put Mummenschanz on the Muppet Show. Fucking Mummenschanz! Look at this

Does anyone prefer flats over drums though? You can eat drums so much faster and if you’re trying to push down the sadness with spicy wings, time is a critical factor.

Colin Farrell started to make some interesting role choices about 15 years ago. He could have just chased the leading man roles, but smartly went for some that he played dweebish guys. I really liked him in The Lobster.

would that be the Nick Cannon?

There are many reasons even aside from the environment that NFTs are bad and I can not believe Colbert is now getting into the game (even if it is for altruistic reasons) and excusing it by saying “actually mine aren’t bad for the environment”.

Damn. Horrible news. I loved the Gutter Twins and his stuff he did with QotSTA

yeah, David Simon seems to be interested in telling the stories of a place and the people in it, instead of getting hung up on plot. I would recommend The Wire to people and some of them would say, “eh, I’m not into cop shows” I always say its really a show about Baltimore and not a cop show.

At this point, all the actors should be getting a chunk of the back-end.

Randy Newman has had this hot take for years:

You know, I totally forgot James Garner was in Victor/Victoria. Maybe because of Julie Andrews? It’s been many, many years since I’ve seen it. I should probably give it a rewatch.

The voice actors have a way better union than the animators do. TAG is run by people who don’t know how to get leverage and how to use it if they accidentally stumble upon it. The only thing you get as an animator in the union is the health plan that is attached to IATSE. That’s it...and the health insurance isn’t

I got some Justified vibes off of Reacher too. I thought it also has a little bit of The Rockford Files thrown in there too. I’ll let you youngsters Google The Rockford Files to know what the hell this old guy is talking about...damn I’m so old.

This show came out at the perfect time, right at the beginning of lockdown and it was a welcomed, calming addition to my weekly viewing habits.

“People all over the world (everybody)
Poop lands (poop)
Start a poop train, pooop train
People all over the world (all the world, now)
Poop lands (must wipe)
Start a poop train (flush twice), poop train...”

I love Jeunet’s work and I’m super excited for this. Not everything is going to hit the highs of City of Lost Children, Delicatessen or Amelie, but even some of his later movies are worth watching because he always puts something playful in them. I don’t know if a lot of people saw Micmacs for example:

Man, there were only a few moments in that film that felt like Jeunet’s style bled through the Hollywood system. The grenade tracking shot, the breath PH keys and of coarse some of the casting. It’s a shame, because I always look at that film as a “what could’ve been if they just let him alone”. Its a franchise movie

Jesus, what black arts did they use to reanimate Mick just to prop him up for that photo?

For a second I thought it was Marillion drummer Ian Mosley.

Right?!

It’s an A24 film movie directed by Alex Garland, so my answer is “yes”.
