Noted. I looking forward to seeing if he brings that to thought process to Ben.

Did anyone else start reading this article and say to themselves, “it can’t be that Walter Mosley”. Also, reading this quote from him makes me super excited:
How often do you really come across someone talking on their phone during a movie? I’ve never seen someone do that, and I got the movies 5-10 times a year.
Internet users apparently don’t know she has a NYC accent.
I try not to do too much gatekeeping on Disney fandom or things with my 5 year old nephew would become strained. Little poser can’t even differentiate Lassester’s assembly line produced efforts from Docter’s more ambitious projects. Ugh.
Also, the Ghibli museum is very conscious of it’s affect on the town it’s in. Its closed for at least week every year so the people from the town can go enjoy the museum and (I think) for free.
Oh yeah, they got the site a little better, but not by much. Totally worth the trouble though. The zoetrope section in the beginning (that a lot of places have copied since then) made me laugh out loud because I thought it was so cool and charming.
I have no interest in theme parks, but I went to the Ghibli museum when I went to Japan years ago - pro tip: if you plan on visiting the museum, get your tickets way in advance - there is a waiting list. Anyway, the Ghibli museum is great because it’s a celebration of animation, not the IPs. We just don’t have the…
Not necessarily. Skankers can no longer survive in the wild, but there are some programs where skankers can live out a long a fruitful life. I heard the was a program somewhere in Bushwick Brooklyn that puts skankers to work in an artisanal winery where they crush grapes to the sound Operation Ivy. Its kind of…
if it’s gluten free, it sounds like something I would be interested in trying.
I loved The Smith’s in spite of Morrissey. Marr is Marr. The rhythm section of Joyce and Rourke is right up there...
that is some impressive man-ring!
I think if you spend any time in this town, you will find most of the people who are well know in the industry come from, at the very least, upper middle class backgrounds to out right rich. I’m not saying all, but it is a very large percentage. It explains a lot about some of the tone deaf messages that show up in…
...Kirsten went from being so wary of Tyler that she stabbed him for freaking her out, to listening to him. The main problem is the way that Tyler terrorizes the Traveling Symphony is enough for Kirsten to not like him. Or did I mistake that sequence where he uses a child as a suicide bomber?...
No offense to Rooney Mara, but Audrey Hepburn just radiated out warmth and I’ve never seen that from Mara in anything she’s been in (not saying she’s a bad actress or anything). Hepburn was beautiful physically (obviously), but even if you didn’t know about all of her altruistic endeavors, you felt that there something…
I’m also firmly on the “punch nazis in the face” team
I was about to post the same thing, but you beat me to it. Kudos!
Did he get this list from Citibank too?
Hey, so why not do a fluff piece with a Vanderbilt while he’s at it?
God, I love A24.
