One of my favorite Netflix shows is Sense8, partly because of it’s wonderfully diverse cast, and it’s SciFi. The first two episodes are dry, because they’re basically just introducing you to it’s very large cast, but it’s worth it once you get past that. It also looks at MANY aspects of diversity.
