Great point, when was the lad time you saw any adds on Deadspin?

The best part about being a fan of both the O’s & the Wizards is that I’m likely to catch a few stray bullets in article about the state of the NBA or MLB. I’m almost jealous of my family in Kansas because no one gives a shit about them so they can wallow in misery in peace
Did the Lakers ask Magic to talk to Kawhi? I could have sworn I head Magic did it of his own volition, and it’s not like the Lakers could publicly tell him no without looking like the petty & disorganized franchise they’ve been the past few years
Anyone who prefer’s the O’s to use the accurate bird instead of the cartoon bird is wrong & likely a terrorist imho
That’s the hidden downside of being an O’s fan. The only teams I can truly bring myself to hate are the Yankees & Red Sox, who seem to win a World Series between them every 2-3 years
Buddy,,,,, I’m an O’s fan & I would fucking KILL for a starting pitcher to have an ERA of *only* 6.13
On a much more childish scale, I worked at a Pizza Hut in high school, probably right around when Facebook became popular. One of the guys I worked with pantomimed jerking off and used a creamer in his act before posting it to his account with no caption. About a week later he was called into the GM’s office, along…
Just wanna chime in & say forever fuck Hogan for declining to add the red line metro to the Baltimore area because of high costs before doling out traffic pork to every other fucking area of Maryland
Best case scenario is they can ask for a hardship exemption that will get them another roster spot to sign someone while wall is out, but if he’s able to play again then they’re on the hook for his contract
Trade him to the Wizards for Otto Porter, who says no?
Yea but this is the NFL, they’d find a way to install a pro-management stooge as a union rep in each chapter who’ll argue for everyone to make less money to keep it equal while ignoring management realizing most of the profits with no risks. Probably call the guy something like “Ramon Foster”
It’s weird that more fans don’t watch baseball to see the excitement of a manager opening a binder to assess which pitcher to call in, who then refers to a notecard on how to pitch to a batter
IIRC that was Chris Davis’s 1st season starting for the O’s
I just moved from Baltimore, but that’s definitely a great place to do that. I can’t tell you how many times over the years I’ve seen Camden Yards chock full of fans of the other team
And sorry you’re a twat. It seems not that unreasonable to expect TSA to not spill ashes out of an urn all over your bags. If he had placed them in a moving van and this happened I would agree with you, but your Johnny Badass approach of “hurr durr actually TSA is blameless since he should have known carry on is the…
If he needs the money I think he would fit in great as Trailer Park Supervisor at Sunnyvale trailer park
The biggest problem I have with this is that ESPN shut down comments on their articles. Luckily there’s plenty of brave souls in the comment section here explaining why its actually Francis’ fault & TSA shouldn’t be blamed
I also like to victim blame, thank you for your service
Yea letting Markakis leave was ok given his age and a (likely) decline, they screwed up by never finding an adequate replacement for him. Especially since for years he was the only guy on the team who would actually take a pitch. Luckily Davis stepped up to that role by never swinging at a single pitch
That’s fair, Belle was a “good idea, horrible in execution” type of deal. Still didn’t make me not fly into a rage when I saw someone wearing a Belle O’s jersey at Camden Yards in 2016
