Amy Acker was in Person of Interest for four years doing terrific work. Much like she did when she joined Angel, POI took a huge leap in quality after she was upped to series regular and was tasked with carrying the show's main story arc, so, surely her work on that show deserves at least to be mentioned among her

This is an accurate assessment on Lucifer.

I did a double take at "It's over clocking!", too. But I confess I don't know enough about over clocking a CPU to know that it can only be done manually. I get "It's overheating", of course, but "overclocking" was a tougher sell.

My favourite lines:

I think this is the kind of show that will be more appreciated after it's over than during its actual run. It always was very underrated, but I think part of it had to do with how weak season 1 was. Still, so many critics stay with shows that have less than stellar season ones, so I don't know.

If they killed off Reese, I'd really tip my hat off to the writers and kiss all of them most passionately. That'd a be a bold, bold move. Not me kissing them, just them killing Reese.

You mean in the afterlife when he's finally killed off?

It does. It separated both storylines way too much. It feels like two shows instead of one. The Samaritan arc is amazing and the backbone of the show, at least mythos-wise. It is remarkable that this show, in its fourth season, keeps nailing the mythology. Has there been a mythos-driven episode that was bad?

If it's not Shaw, I want it to be Root, though. If it's Reese or someone else, it'll really piss me off.

I really liked this one, guys. Best episode since, what, Control Alt Delete? Sure, not in that league, but I don't mind. This is what I want. I don't ask that the show delivers If-Then-Elses and Prophets week in and week out, but I think I can ask for episodes where there's a number of the week this compelling, where

Yeah, Reese doesn't kill people these days. I guess he wouldn't have minded if Root had killed her. In fact, I think he wouldn't mind Root killing people for him at all.

Was Root's smirk as she picked up the phone for Samaritan or The Machine? I know she deactivated Samaritan's feed, but was it just inside or…?

Nope. It's not having a good season, but there's a lot more to it than Amell without a shirt. @disqus_YjjAtUNr9J:disqus does present a valid point, though, Arrow doesn't get that much criticism for its acting (of lack thereof). With POI, though, you must admit that a bad actor sticks out much more because everyone's

I am not saying their decisions are perfect. In fact, this lacklustre episode proved they are not. But where Shaw is concerned, I'd wait. I still do not see this as 'let's use the POC as a prop'. Really, I don't. And I doubt they'll do that.

That's drastic. I hope you're okay?

I understand your concerns and, to an extent, I share them. But I don't think they're showing as a damsel in distress… yet? I mean, maybe it'll play out differently? We don't know what their plans with Shaw are yet. We don't know if maybe she'll infiltrate Samaritan? There are more questions about Shaw than there are

Also, I don't think Root aimed to kill. She clearly wanted Claire to see her both confident and on her feet. Root was sending a message to Samaritan.

Again. Taraji wanted to leave. Shahi is pregnant and they want her back. What else can you do to make their absence realistic enough? Yes, there was more dignity in Carter's death because that closed that storyline. Shaw's journey on the show hasn't ended yet.

This… didn't quite work for me. I will try to say why.

LOL.
