The Buick is the only car from an automaker that I would trust for parts & service.

You do realize the Buick Envista is made in either Korea or China, right? Whereas Toyota, Honda, and Nissan have assembly plants in the U.S.

I ended up getting a Stinger, its not a V8 but I’m still loving it. Just gotta keep dreaming...

I have wanted a Pontiac G8 or a Chevy SS so bad, and every time I look they get more and more expensive. I was at a show this past week and their was a stock SS and it was getting so much attention.

I made many cross country road trips in my ‘87 Mustang GT in the 90s.  Very comfortable seats.   But I was in my 20s then, in my 50s now I prefer a quieter, more comfortable ride (Cadillac CT6 is my current road trip car).

I’ve gone cross-country in a 1975 Thunderbird, a 2003 Ram 1500, a 1983 Pontiac Bonneville wagon, a Ford Econoline van, a Chevy Beauville van, multiple generations of Suburban, and a 2010 Mustang GT.

Why actually put forth the effort to make a concise, readable article that only takes one click to access when you could crowdsource the content and turn it into 15+ clicks? Lazy journalism. Torch would never!

Although I drove from Pittsburgh PA to Portland OR 8 years ago in a 2008 Ford Escape (which was fine; got great mileage on the long highways out west, had room for stuff, could fold the seats down and take a nap if needed), I had more fun in my 89 Mustang GT convertible 25 years ago driving solo from Pittsburgh to

1000% correct. It’s the dictionary definition of the very idea, as far as I’m concerned.

The original E28 M5.

I love the 8.32, it was comfortable and crazy. Not too dissimilar to my Alfa Rome 150 tbi, although I have the Sportswagon. (We need one on best sports wagons, because wagons are way cooler)

The Lotus Carlton , probably the only car on this list that was actively campaigned to be banned from production for being too fast.

BMW never made an E46 M3 sedan, but they sure did make an E90 M3, and it’s glorious.

Lotus Carlton, the end.

Pontiac G8 GXP. A 4.5 second 0-60 in grandpa’s old luxo-barge.

Recency bias and all that, but damn if this 6MT V8 supercharged V8 is not one of the best sedans of all time.

There’s no other answer. Shortest slideshow in Jalopnik history.

Had to get rid of my 2003 Acura CL-S with a bit more than 1/2 that mileage because 19 Chicago winters started to take a toll on the frame. The 3.2L V-6 and the six speed manual were never rebuilt and were still running very smooth and strong.

Anyone else would quietly delete their erroneous comment and walk backwards into the bushes. Me? I’m going to thank you.

You, uh, seem to have excised the “every year” part off that quote.
