As a recent parent, experiencing all the parenting things - sleepless nights, a constant flow of money out of my accounts, pooping and peeing with reckless abandon, and and a constant base level of stress about his health and wellbeing.... I think you need to calm down just a touch.  No one is implying raising a cat…

I’ve said it before and I will say it again: the best parking spot is one that allows you a quick exit.  This is generally in a row on or near an edge, with limited pedestrians (not right on the front drive) and with limited direction of travel (not near where the side and front entries meet, for example.  

The very LAST thing my parents were ever concerned with was how comfortable my brother and I were in the car. We were lucky to be getting a ride somewhere at all - my parents were NOT in the kid taxi business. We could like it or lump it. And complaining would result in a swat at best or in one case, a long, cold walk…

Well I am going to say this as a BMW rider/owner since birth (I mean it literally. My childhood is an orgy of bmws from E 21 to E 46 encompassing every generation of 3,5 and 7 in that period). And I owned a E90 for 11 years.
