As the spokesman for the National Association of Rodgers & Hart Enthusiasts, I am bewitched, bothered and bewildered.

This sounds like a compelling idea for a play. The theme of managing conflicting narratives in the wake of tragedy puts me in mind of Dave Cullen's stunning Columbine, which emphasized how quickly lies and innuendos can become established facts.

Counterpoint: Volcano was the better choice for people wanting to see John Carroll Lynch heroically save a guy and then jump into lava.

And he played Hostetler on Deadwood!

I can't watch a game of baseball anymore without hearing him say "Mariano Rivera" in my head, in that sonorous voice of his.

I first saw the Star Wars Trilogy when I was 8, as I borrowed the VHSs from my neighbors. After I finished Empire, I didn't yet have their copy of Jedi, and I was so anxious about Han's fate that I hurried over to my mom's encyclopedia of film stars to make sure that Jedi was listed under Harrison Ford's filmography.

I bet it's Patriot Games - Anne Archer plotted the attack on the Royal Family!

Ah, here's me thinking that Lubezki had won for Tree of Life. Like the Narrator, I'm conflicted!

YESSS. That was hilarious. I think they even used the same footage of an exploding temple twice, once as OMAHA and once as ROCKEFELLER CENTER.

Now I'm envisioning Jack Ryan as played by Matthew Perry, Bradley Whitford, or Timothy Busfield. Each sounds incredible.

My high school marching band played that piece in a field show the year after I stopped participating. I was pretty bummed to miss out. They even chanted the Russian lyrics!

Teenaged me enjoyed it as well and was miffed that the film deviated so heavily from the text!

Heh heh heh, just thinking about that makes me laugh out loud.

I'll never forget how proud I was the day I finished all 900 pages of The Sum of All Fears.

Get me a screenplay by the end of the day and we'll make it happen!

It would be funny in a Police Squad! sort of way if the shot of Big Ben accompanied the on-screen text "OMAHA," or something.

Ah yes, of course! And actually, I think we could call Bashir an animated documentary.

::breaks table, straightens glasses, apologizes::

Ha! As disappointed as I may be, I'm very glad to see that you typed this comment. It's the sad, inevitable denouement of your "TRACY LETTS" series.
