I quite enjoy Mr. McCarthy's films. I've even seen Win Win multiple times!

He employs Bureau guidelines, deductive technique, Tibetan method, instinct, and luck, as well as something new, which, for a lack of a better word, we shall call magic, to solve crimes.

My boys will be named Locksmith, Baker, and Factory Foreman. Unless my wife prefers something more traditional, like Human Resources Representative or Janitor.

IT'S IN HIS NOTES!!!

Ohhh. Yeah, I get it.

I AM THE ONE WITH WHOM THE FORCE IS.

And for me, the cast is enough to make me really really like the films.

Can you imagine how excited he'd be to end up in a Star Wars film? I kind of hope he gets cast in some capacity.

NUH UH!

The slow-motion race sequence set to "California Here I Come" (excerpted there in the trailer) is so harrowing and mesmerizing. Much like the film itself, I suppose!

YOWZA YOWZA!

It definitely is. I watched it for the first time recently and was struck by its relevancy (and the overall quality too - Sydney Pollack & Co. did a helluva job).

HELLO LADIES THIS IS STEPHEN MERCHANT SPEAKING COULD I BUY YOU A DRINK THEN MAYBE WE COULD GO HUNT MAN BECAUSE MAN IS THE MOST DANGEROUE ANAMAL OF ALL AND MAYBE WE COULD CATCH A MOVIE TOO EBEORIETEMETHHPITI

Schwartz's mom ended up washing his mouth out with soap.

And season two.

I read A Prayer for Owen Meany a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it. Funny, thought-provoking, heartbreaking. Really funny, actually, I laughed out loud a number of times. I hope you enjoy it!

I yelled a particularly unfortunate epithet at the TV in 2010 that created a very uncomfortable silence at the Oscar party I was attending.

The exclamation point after "teenager" made me laugh out loud. Well done, old man.

It's like seeing Shakespeare the way it was meant to be done!
