It’s a rough and rural racism. And horribly open and accepted. I am always shocked by the people who say racist things to me, bc all us whites are in on the joke, and then get offended bc I don’t appreciate their comments, which were not meant to be offensive, of course, but just a simple statement of facts.

Basically her statement boils down to, “I had no idea saying n**** was racist but since I said it we’re all pretty sure the n***** are going to try to kill me now, and maybe the other white people around me too, so the orange man said I should go home.”

She looks like the kind of gal you’d like to have a beer with, right Republicans? Right?

Can we get the Supreme court to admit that and bring back the voting rights act?

Maybe that her hate for black people is more than what the Facebook post meant! Seriously republicans need to remember they were the party of Lincoln wtf happened.

Kara there are more to Illinois then Chicagoland, I mean Crook, I man Cook country.

excited to see her double down on the racism when she gets back to ole illy.

I’m convinced. /s

Yeah, where did this statement come from if not from her attitudes about minorities? Literally what else would inspire a sentence like that?

“The statements do not reflect my character or feelings toward minorities. As a Jewish woman, I know that racism of any kind is unjustifiable and hurtful ...”

“The statements do not reflect my character or feelings towards minorities”

Kinda like how Scott Baio told Tamron Hall he never called Hillary Clinton a “C*nt.” He did, by tweeting a photo that called her that under his opinion “This may be the best meme out there.”

My only silver lining to all of this bullshit is that my white friends and coworkers can stop denying that racism is a huge problem in the USA now that these freaks have been emboldened enough to make it SERIOUSLY plain. Till now, it was impossible to have a conversation that didn’t end in ‘let’s agree to disagree’.

Alabaman here. Don’t buy our 80-y/o grandmas’ apologies. At this point, our state’s racism is basically indistinguishable from Illinoisans’

Obviously she was just worried about naggers trying to start something.

“I respect the decision of the Illinois Republican Party and understand their concerns about my safety and that of the entire Illinois delegation.”

Fer fucks sake. You make an obviously racist and threatening statement, and then say that you didn’t mean to be racist or threatening. What the fuck? Did you phone just type that shit by itself?

While I in no way intended to make racist or threatening statements, I now realize that they could be interpreted that way.

That was one holy-shit-stain of an excuse.

Illinois Nazis. I hate Illinois Nazis.
