How does travelling prevent him from seeing this? I get free wi-fi for my Chromebook on certain flights and tons of people pay for wifi.

It’s hard to separate those two, because the deniers are all also ignorant.
Guy famous for being an incredibly incompetent communications director still bad at communications directing. News at 11.
This is
horrifying, completely expected.
This is horrifying, completely expected. Puerto Rico’s 0 electoral votes means f*ck ‘em; and the mayor of San Juan who dared speak out against him while possessing the added insult of having lady parts.
I keep expecting him to suddenly decide the situation is worth fixing when the inhabitants use their rights as Americans to move to the mainland en masse.
But guys, he helped them too.
I cannot wait, honestly.
FEMA spends years in disaster areas. I know that after Hurricane Charley, FEMA was in Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda for at least three years. I think it was longer after Katrina.
Donald the Bitch is going to find out they’re American citizens when they all register to vote on the mainland.
This reminds me so much of the bullshit that went on in Iraq during G.W.’s regime. If you protested the war you were supporting the terrorists and “insulting our troops”, but the fucking administration (and their Republican allies) were perfectly fine sending our boys out with shitty body armor and unarmored vehicles…
Just in case this didn’t crop up here before now.
I wonder how they’ll blame us for that?
I’m with alliterator on this. Logan is the absolute best superhero movie I’ve ever seen. It does such a good job of immersing the audience in the movie’s reality and really earning the payoffs it provides. It’s also understated in many ways, which gives the movie a sense of gravitas you just don’t get in most of these…
All these years and they’re still blaming the audience for their failure. If JL sucks with a lighter tone I wonder how they’ll blame us for that?
Boom. There it is. Not to mention their deconstruction sucked on top of it.
They seem to have confused deconstruction - stripping the hero down to component parts to not only see what makes him or her tick, but to comment on the nature of heroism in general - with destruction, which is sterilizing your hero, robbing them of any human interaction, sticking them in a ridiculous situation and…
Sigh. The problem wasn’t that it was too dark or that it deconstructed the hero. Hell, Logan was a much bleaker movie that completely deconstructed Wolverine and it’s one of the best superhero movies of all time.
Right, I got no issues with a deconstructed superhero, but resting an important plot point on two characters’ mothers coincidentally having the same first name isn’t an issue of me not understanding what I’m seeing.
“The main thing we learned [on Batman v Superman] is that people don’t like to see their heroes deconstructed,” said Snyder. “They like seeing them in all their glory… I think what’s really great is where we’re going is kind of what the audience is wanting. We just had to take the characters from somewhere to bring…
