Looking forward for the review! That All-In-one looks amazing. Not sure if I'll choose to wait for Windows 8 though. Depends if the touchpad will be getting proper Win8 gesture support from the start.

Seeing as Vizios are by far the best selling TVs in the US, it's really not surprising that a higher percentage of TVs in a shop are Vizios. You'd have to normalize the number in for repair against the number of units sold for an accurate comparison.

To be fair, I remember people absolutely hating XP when it first came out. It was eventually a success, but it definitely had its critics at the start. It's interface was too colourful and distracting, it had compatibility issues, etc.

I dunno.. I've been using it for 6 months, and I really can't say that I'd rather have the start menu. They're essentially the same to me. I use them to launch stuff by typing. That said, it IS annoying that you can't instantly search for settings anymore.

My guess is that she somehow turned on the "rotation lock" by mistake, and the screen just doesn't rotate. She will assume this is just how it's made.

I welcome those meatheads. The way some people try to use weights is downright dangerous, and if I'm doing it wrong, I'd rather know!

If this thing can detect a stylus, we could use a few of these at the office to do digital mark-ups on engineering drawings. Would definitely be a niche market though.

Love interest and rival hero Conditioner Girl would always come by after the fighting is done, make the streets extra shiny and silky and take all the credit and attention.

The source article indicates that the normal F8 behaviour remains unchanged on existing BIOS motherboards. The change applies only to UEFI machines.

Follow the source link - this has been addressed. Multi-monitor support had not been incorporated in the CP release. They have basically added invisible barriers at the corners of connected screen so that your mouse doesn't slide to the other monitor. This will also be great for hitting the "X" to close a windows on

That's pretty much the plan, but unfortunately, multi-monitor support had not yet been incorporated into the CP (there are a number of issues other than that, like trying to get at the hotspots between two screens)

"the iPad, for instance, already plays video at 16:9" ??

I had never made that connection!

I think something that gets missed talking about screen size is that it's mostly irrelevant in terms of ergonomics as opposed to the actual phone's dimensions. For example, my HD7 is only slightly wider and taller than the iPhone despite having a 4.3" screen, due to the much thinner bezel.

I think you're right on this point: think of a solution, not of the code.

I'd say the first purpose of something like an SAT is to separate those that have the abilities AND/OR are capable of studying from those who can't study and/or have the abilities.

Oh no! With our 30 years of universal health care, we must be really in deep sh*t here in Canada!!

I've been using the CP and the DP before that, and I will be the first to agree that there is a ton of work to do still to make it work on the desktop. That said, I'm still using it and I don't see why I'd go back. There are quite a few neat additions and improvements, and in exchange, all you have to do is get used

Luckily, vibration reduction is something that can be solved by modifying and optimizing the blade design. There's a ton of current research with the goal of doing just that, as well as optimizing performance.

If you're smart about it, it shouldn't be difficult to plan a future use for each facility. And there are tons of investments made in transit and infrastructure that really do improve the city after the games are gone. All depends on how thoroughly you can plan ahead.
