Because it’s something that’s not great if it sits for an extended period, like in a restaurant or at a cookout.
Down south, we have a red slaw that’s made with BBQ sauce. It’s divine.
If you don’t like cole slaw, you fall into one of two camps:
So very sorry - we lost our beloved dog back in October. She had been diagnosed with congestive heart failure, but you’d have never known it to look at her and observe her behavior. She passed a few days after her 13th birthday quickly as a result of heart failure (heart attack). She was vibrant to the end, which…
Agreed - this article is straight up absurd.
That is weird - part of the reason I took that job was because most folks working there seemed to make decent money. No idea what the tipshare rate was, but we generally had two bussers working Sun-Thurs and three on Fri-Sat.
You must’ve been in a slower location. On most evenings, my tipshare would be $40-60. My memory isn’t great, but I think my shifts were usually 5-11 or 12, so six or seven hours. If seven hours and a $40 tipshare, that would put me at $8/hr, but at six hours and a $60 tipshare I’d be closer to $12/hr. We were always…
Nah, the C5 is a really comfy cruiser.
Yup - $2.13/hr plus tipshare. Not a great payment structure for a high schooler. My tiny checks went into my account, the cash I picked up for tipshare went to partying.
Oh yes, I was a busboy as well. The benefits there were a) you got to flirt with the hostesses and, b) if a hostess called out, they’d send you home to put on nice clothes and act as a host
Hope so, since then maybe I can get one for cheap since they’re apparently pretty fun to drive.
That would be epic. They’re too chickenshit to do it, but it would be amazing.
Hah, so true. Woman at my last job embezzled about $80k, always complained about being at work, despite clearly getting seriously paid! She always had new, designer clothes, never wore the same outfit twice, paid for an expensive wedding for herself and her man and drove a brand new Dodge Nitro RT in that short…
You got comped meals? We didn’t get that when I worked there. The way our deal worked was you got 50% off for 1-2 meals, 33% of three, 25% off four, etc. I suppose the benefit was that it was good anytime you went to the store, not just when working, but we didn’t get anything special during our shifts, aside from…
I tried to drag my wife to the one in Myrtle Beach, but she refused to go. Alas, I couldn’t relive the days of my youth.
I’ll see your grape and raise you watermelon. Watermelon flavoring is so un-watermelon-like that it has devolved into something not even close to resembling the fruit it’s trying to mimic.
How is that rating achieved? Is it based both on history and current condition, or just current condition? I could see if it was really well repaired still getting a good rating if the history isn’t considered. But if they’re tasked with taking the history into account, then totally agree.
...and the Slowrunner will still be running long after the CX5 is in a salvage yard.
